Look up Mach 3 speed training. 3x a week I use 3 of their tools. I went from 103 clubhead speed to today my PR 119mph 173 ball speed! It’s all about a long hand path and break b the CNS to move faster

I just took up golf about a year ago. I was hitting the driver, maybe 180 yards, at the beginning. Never had lessons. Just youtube and my phone camera. Then I see these long drive videos, and it all I want to do. Took forever to break out of that 125-130 ball speed. Once I did, it was like a lightning strike. Hit 150s. Had to retune a bit 160s... Now stuck in the 170 range. 178 being my high. Time to break the 180s. Thanks for the inspiration.

This reminds me of the range session with Kyle, where Bryson spent all day trying to hit a number and Kyle beat it on his first shot when he wasn't even trying yet. Thos long drive guys are a different breed. I can't even get to 110mph club head speed, much less 150mph+ that these guys do on a regular basis.

if you notice closely he doesn't have that much lower back torque, that's the key to longevity (imho). his strength helps limit his joint flexibility so he has to use hip turn and arm swing to complete a full turn.

Got a fun video idea for you. Get an average golfer who has athletic traits in other endeavors and see if you can speed train them up purely with driving. For instance someone who can bench a decent amount can they transition that into a drive. Might be interesting

That was so much fun to watch.. I had my 13 yo son on indoor sim a short while back doing something very similar and he got to 126 ball speed. Trying to show him hard work pays off!! Not sure of accuracy of sim but it’s XGolf and supposed to be really good.

The Left Dash is legit. It's the longest tour ball quite easily. It's common for club fitters to fit you with range balls but the ball changes everything

Youse guys are filthy. I am 52 and only started working on my grip it and rip it (been playing for about 25 years). My fastest (measured) club head speed is 122. Damn if I can hit the ball remotely consistently though. I will actually have lessons for the first time in the spring, hopefully teach can work with me and get it squared away (preferably without asking me to slow my swing down). I want to knock the skin off the damn ball, lol.

I had my first hit in a few years yesterday and hit my mate's driver about 300 yards as a 58 year old. I've hit about 350 yards with no wind, level a couple of decades back. I was a Decathlete with a background as a junior pennant golfer. Approx 100kg at the time, 6 feet tall. Shot put, discus and javelin were my strengths as a national level decathlete. Planned to compete in Australian Long Drive events but they conflicted with a mate's 8-Ball pool event. Pool being the sport where I actually made some decent money. Played on the International Pool Tour in 2007. Loved the video Bryson.
