thanks for posting this. i also went ahead and cleared the needles while I was doing this project. if anyone needs a how to, i can quickly put together a video on how to separate the orange needles from the black circular cap.

Can someone be more specific about what light sizes are used? Trying to do this but I feel like I'm going to fuck up the led sizes.

Awesome videos, thanks! One question... Are all the LED's actually red or are they amber/orange? In my car it looks like the door lock/unlock buttons are red and the dash is amber. I am wondering if I could cover the LED's with red film instead of replacing them. Hokie, yes, but I don't want to fry the board replacing LED's. Thoughts? Thx

weirdly enough a fork works really well for getting the gauge hands to pop out. Slip it under with a spike either side and voila, it's off without any scratches.

My little corner pieces that are notched out dont match up to the ones in the cluster that you changed. But they match with all the other ones, its it okay if I just put them on the same side? But rather them being on the bottom they'll be on the top, but still same side

How do you get to the LED in the start/stop button? can you pull that board of with out breaking anything?

you have to pop it out. It's held in by clips.

If I was going to go through the trouble, I'd get colour changing LED's and be able to change the universal colour with my phone, that way I can do literally whatever colour I want
