When I was in grade school I watched New Deal Useless Wooden Toys and was I stoked on the ollie impossible and Ed's part. New Deal was rad to me because I was a street skater who started in the late 80's during the vert years. I was always drawn to the art direction of New Deal and I remember in his ads they wrote to send $1 and they would send you stickers. I sent them a dollar and Deanna sent me a letter back with a bunch of stickers. I always thought that was rad, and I remember sending $1 to other companies for stickers and not getting anything back. Looking back as a graphic designer now, Ed's still and inspiration and I can totally relate to some of the topics he's talking about in the interview. I didn't realize I could still relate anymore, but I was wrong. After saying that Search for Animal Chin was actually the very first real skate video and the start of my whole skater years back then. Props Tommy!

If Ed made that run of small books it would not only be rad as all hell, but it would be more accessible than some of his more expensive works for lower income skaters that might not be able to afford some of his more expensive wprks.
