Thank You both for the authentic vibes. Been skating since '79 and appreciate seeing you both still in it and loving skating ,even when you are faced w/ the memories of your younger self and adjusting to what it feels like to skate through the decades. Thanks for all the inspiration through the years! Big UP Tommy Guerrero! Big UP Eric Dressen!

Dressen is a LEGEND. One of my favorite riders of all time. Back in the 1980's, for me and my very small crew, Dressen WAS IT. A masterful style that beat Natas at his own game and inspired me to no end. Same deal with Tommy G. These guys are not even Human to me. Godlike.

Great show, Tommy! Crazy I'm watching this now, but I just saw Dressen at Coleman skatepark in the LES, NYC just 2 weeks ago. And ironically Sean Pablo was there that day(along with a slew of other pros), destroying the place! Funny to hear him talk about how he geeks out on him. I'm salty though, cuz I couldnt believe, after I've been skating for 30 years and seeing Eric in the mags since '85 or so, that he was skating the same park as me, haha. I was like, what are the chances?! I got so starstruck I didn't even say whats up. Too bad too cuz he seems like a crazy nice and genuine dude. Great show, man. The Natas show was a banger too! Keep it up brother. Peace, from BK.

86'-87'.. I was 12- 13.. I would skate 5 miles on my crappy board, nearly everyday, to the Schwinn bike shop; cuz that was the only place that sold skateboards, and just stair at the Dogtown Dressen board. I memorized every detail of that board, and then I would go home & try my best to draw the graphics.

Dressen was a very early pro....didnt know that. I do remember when skateboarding came back he knew how to win "street" contests when no one else knew what the hell to do with the course. And Guerrero...early street pioneer himself. These two....the other Gonz and Natas. Both these skaters were true rippers of the street.

Well if I had to guess the guy TG is referring to at the end regarding dudes being crippled is Jaws. I agree. The dude has balls of steel and seems super cool, but when you're young you have no idea what you're in for 20 and 30 years later. It's gotta be tough being a street pro these days. The level you have to maintain is crazy. And before long you can either quit once you can't maintain it anymore or try to make a go at having your own company.
