I enjoy your videos Brian. Always a high quality job on your bikes. I enjoyed the 'trips out' to the local workshops too. I had to make a number of cable adjusters when I was restoring my son's Garelli. Having a lathe about the place is indispensable. Best wishes, Dean in Oxfordshire.

I found a youngster in a local shop with great skills for tires too! His father had taught him and they have all the proper tools. On another note: Is that an er32 collet in your chucker? Sometimes you’re using a 3-jaw too. When drilling end to end it sure helps when they start concentric. Do you indicate the OD of the material first? Thanks for all the info and tips on making custom cables and adjuster-sleeves. Is that the low temp silver solder?

Hunter, thanks for the comment. I do swop chuck/collet all the time, collets are more accurate on my lathe, i dont indicate a great deal as I mostley turn down from larger stock than I need. I use normal silver solder for brake cables, I do have some low temp solder but not used it yet. Cheers B
