BSA C15 - Some brutal repairs

Hello Hugh ,a masterclass in economical repair as always I have a similar c15 myself ,I gave up on it maybe twenty years ago when on replacing the timing side cover everything went tight .I had replaced the two camshaft bushes but not had them reamed in line at least I think that's the problem (after much head scratching) I am no mechanic really ,as it means stripping down the engine again I keep putting it off and promising myself to do it soon.Lovely bike best wishes for your health and happiness 😊😊😊

Frank thank you for that. I am no expert but both repairs are working. The float chamber leaked at first but that stopped as the petrol soaked into it.
