We do have some new parts coming soon for the RE 350 models, and some Hunter only parts at the end of the year. Also some new parts for 650 Super Meteor . Parts development still continues on BSA and Triumph models too. If somebody told me 10 Years ago, I would be so busy developing parts for new Triumph, BSA and Royal Enfield bikes I would have thought them crazy !

Brilliant as always , love watching your video's of all your bikes. I have a himalayan, still very happy with the new camshaft bought of you some time back now. Thanks Chris

I always have to check for chain tightness by rotating it 360 degrees for tight spots. At least on the old beezers it’s good to check for tire straightness making sure I hadn’t cocked it after tightening the big nut.

Nice BSA videos👍. When do you think we'll be getting a rear luggage rack like the ones on the RE CLASSIC 350? Or are you thinking of making one?!!! All the best🤩

I have a legacy edition, When I was installing the TEC Bike Parts tail tidy, I noticed the poor quality of the stock rear wiring harness, the tail light wires are colour coded with green and yellow insulation tape and two of the wires came out of their connector housing in my hand. The wires wouldn't push back into their housing, so I cut the wires and replaced the connectors with some that I happened to have. The Tail Tidy looks great when installed, an improvement would be for it to have sides to cover up the wiring.

Ok I have a question ?? I bought the tail tidy but have not installed it yet !! But can we install the grab handle along with tail tidy kit ????? Or will It interfere on way ???? Please clarify
@justlookingaround98349 ай бұрын
Like other have said some shape to the top of the tidy and a more vertical position would make it look less diy.

Why not wait a few more months and look at the new Triumph Speed 400?.
@ruahinesrider Жыл бұрын
Triumph Speed 400 is alot lighter than the 350 & BSA & is faster than the 350.

That chain adjuster bobbin would be perfect for a Triumph T20, since nothing fits with the stock exhaust haha
@georgemilburn6213 Жыл бұрын
problem with T120 and T100 is the low slung silencers, but could be used with aftermarket upswept exhaust.
@neillambton4065 Жыл бұрын
That tail tidy certainly improves the look of the bike. You could have made it with a bit more shape in it, rather than just a flat plate, BUT, that would have made it much more complex to manufacture, making it more expensive. A good inexpensive improvement on the looks. Has any more paint peeled off the tank yet?.
@nickaxe771 Жыл бұрын
I thought the same Neil.....bit of a curve in the top section leading back to the seat....saying that the new TEC one still looks Sooooo much better that the crap one fitted by BSA....what were they thinking.
@jonathanhill8268 Жыл бұрын
I agree and if not shape perhaps taper the plate towards the saddle, just looks a bit heavy. But definitely a mod.👍

can the device for paddock stands be used for Triumph Scrambler SS900?

I just can't see how 3mm 304 is going to be strong enough. I realize the options are limited, but I really think swingarm welding is the difficult but reliable solution. Too many situations that will bend those whilst on the stand.
@TECBikeParts Жыл бұрын
I use 3 mm thick SS brackets for big block chevy motor lifting brackets. the motor and box are way heavier than the BSA and they don't bend. Edge on it is very strong been using for almost 7 months now with no issues on the bike
@jameshisself9324 Жыл бұрын
@@TECBikeParts The application you mention is inline tensile loading where this is an offset bending load. Can a person sit on the bike? How much can they weigh? I ask because you may never do that but someone always comes along and thinks it is ok to do and does it before you can stop them. I would also like to be able to sit on it in some situations to check fit changes I have made to the bike. I'm glad it works for you though, I just don't think it does for me.

Hi, Yes I know a few people waiting on these, they are on my list to do. We have been making these for 12 years now and production jigs are at end of life. As tooling needed remaking I was hoping to do some improvements and updates to the system. Only problem is finding the time as we have a very full production and development schedule.

OMG the brake for rear is on wrong side, no way.
@nickaxe771 Жыл бұрын
Why didn't the factory do that with the number plate......theres looked hideous.....your new one looks great George....but I would have prefered a more vertical plate....like the 60s....modded my 2020 T100 Bonnie in that way....plate more vertical. George there is no minimum size for a UK number plate....its just the letter size and spacing and boarders that must conform. You could take loads off the sides of that plate. Needs an 11mm boarder I think it is as well of course as the correct size digits.....also well as a makers name and postcode an its the plates BS number or spec. Only place I know that seems to know the number plate laws for bikes is JDM Plates....got mine off them....even supply a card to explain to a copper who may not be well up on the subject why the plate is 100% legal....diplomatically of course.. Can only be done with a 6 digit plate or less like to one your using....no go on a 7 digit plate....hence me buying a reg number with 5 digits off the DVLA. I got the 5 digit plate direct from the DVLA...not that expensive....I now have a plate starting H3 along with 3 letter's....love it....looks so much neater on a bike rather then the 44ton truck sized one. Keep up the good work George.

Excellent work, but surely saving weight could also be achieved (cheapest way to get a more agile bike) and simply provide a new ally shorter, pre-drilled back mudguard? Anyway, let's be honest, these bikes won't hold their value, so drilling a couple of holes won't get you any more resale value!

I actually don't know anyone who's actually bought/got one…70/140...??..not a lot of UTube 'owner reviews'... I've posted before...one-trick pony for a limited market which will be dead/dumped three years from now...compared to RE…🤔...don't waste your time...publish your sales figures six months from now (riding season is coming to a close)compared to your RE stuff. But I wish you the best....regards
@georgemilburn6213 Жыл бұрын
The more makes of bikes available the better for the consumer. If RE was only maker do you think they would be so good or continually improving. They certainly would not be so cheap. Same applies to BSA , they have to keep ahead of the game or they will get left behind.
