Ah the good old days when BSA still made springers, I have one of these in .177 a carbine, a .22 mk two and three mk one .25's, like yours they all shoot great. These guns seem all but forgotten about such a shame, I have a notion that had BSA invested money in a better trigger for this gun they would have dominated the FT scene back in the day. I remember Venom did a tune job on them back then that was reputed to take them to another level never shot one so I can't say but I wish I had, I did shoot a Theoben one in .25 very smooth cocking and shooting.Just wanted to say it is good to see someone still shooting and appreciating them

Fantastic rifle. Bought one in. 22 Cal after it won air rifle of the year. Still have it and the only issue I've had with it is a sticking sear on the trigger mechanism. Superbly accurate and have despatched many vermin quickly and cleanly. Thank you for sharing.

When they came out it was the airgun of the year year later the goldstar won it mine cost just under £152.00 new and still shoots a 11.4 in .22

I have the 22 version , v mached and in a left hand stock . They are lovely rifles.

Shoots well , as do you , i have one but have never put a scope on it , after seeing this i think i will have a go .well done.

Close the underlever before you open the breach after charging got one in .22 for new in 1991 the webley eclipse has a soft alimunium block and a long transfer port ,looks like a mk1 with the barrel length so what moderator is on it,the mk2 has one on but has a shorter barrel?

I have the mk1,and it's factory mint .my God it shoots smooth for an old gun,and all original parts inside .

One of the finest underlevers that I own, it’s won the Scarborough springer competition in 2018/19 and gave an average score of 90. I have the Gold star too but have some niggling issues with that one. P.s, fit a gas ram, it’s a recognised upgrade for this gun and does make a difference.

1.77 eh? That's one hell of a big pellet. Rifle must be heavy too with a bore over one and three quarter inches in diameter.

Believe it or not there are many young men who genuinely have no idea of the difference between imperial and metric measurements. Some of them struggle to read a tape measure.
