If anyone is interested in basic sciences,he/she must build the endurance to go the distance (phD/post doc)..merely having a bsc is worthless..bsc should be seen as the stepping stone to achieve something great in future..one of my friend took bsc physics after 12th as he had love for the subject...now he is doing his integrated msc-phD from TIFR..so if you think you can do almost the same,then take this course otherwise forget about it.... If you want a job then take any applied or professional courses..bsc is not for jobseekers..

Yes, this is true. But this is equally true for other branches as well. It always depends on the candidate and not the degree (whatever BSc, Btech, BA, Bcom, MBBS etc) For all the streams, there is tough competition in competitive examinations. Whatever is the field, exams like UPSC, SSC etc are difficult for everyone. Now, talking about Campus placements, such scenarios are there only in certain colleges. You'll get good Btech jobs if you are from IITs and similarly good BS-MS jobs if you're from IISc/IITs etc. Even people from Engineering colleges don't get good jobs from private colleges. So, the point is it always depends on the student and nothing else. If someone is a good student, he/she will definitely make it great in the larger spectrum.

you said correct. practical applied courses (engineering) far more better than theoritical (MSc) courses, as there are only two ways either teacher or researchers for msc degree. Again u have to clear the tough exam like NET GATE with a good score. 1st thing as a researcher you can't enjoy your life and now a days getting lectures even a govt teacher post is not so easy with current situation (vacancy problems). I know all engineering degree students are jobless but there is some chance if u have some tech idea. business will be best of luck is your friend 😃

And the second thing is that bsc is the called as pure science ,it's all about to enjoy physics or any other relevant subject that's y the subjects are given as honours . Really! Go and check the fact currently in bsc program there is approximately 4.68 million have enrolled and in engineering it is 2.9 million. So whose population is more an engineer or a bsc graduate ...it's just a hype that people have created .one should not say anything on the basis of only one perception . I challenge that in every graduate level program either u say bsc bcom BA bca btech etc around 85-90 % of the students do not have the core knowledge of their respective subject . That doesn't mean that that particular program have no scope. If there were no scope then that program would not have introduced . And the last thing about video is that I have seen video that's y I have commented ,it's easy to say at the end that it also have some scope wats the use of that word then if u have already created a negative impact on a growing mind .if you could not make it possible in other field that doesn't mean that others can't do . Galaxies... ❤❤❤ I've completed MSc Physics and currently preparing for CSIR NET, GATE, PhD exams... But....On the other hand my friends who selected other branches (Computer Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotech etc) most of them are employed... Even my younger cousins who are in final year of engineering will get employed before me... True . We were 150 students at BHU in year 2013. After completing BSc physics 1. No market need , no job ( Few friends from chemistry got placed) 2.approx 50 students enrolled in MSc ( just because there is a quota for BHU pass out ) 3.5-6 students joined IISc , BHABHA,IIT 4.6-7 students joined IISER ,JNU ,DU 5.Few students changed their discipline (LAW,ART,Mass communication,MBA etc ) 6. Rest of them start preparing for General competition. Further 1.Few of them dropped out from MSc and started general 2. Those Who completed MSc , at last came back for general Other facts 1. At start (12th passed) , all student think that they belongs to 30 % part. 2.Nowdays , leading institution search for BTech graduate as a teaching faculty

You need to pay bills, and you cannot pay bills with the vast knowledge of physics, When family members are giving pressure to get a job but they don't know that there are not enough jobs in this field When I had chosen this carrier that's is around 2013 after completing 12th i thought there may be enough jobs And I came from a family which is not educated enough, so these 3 subjects PCM are the things that I could imagine at those time I was good at physics so I went for it Later when I completed my graduation went for post graduation, completed my PG at 2019 Then I realized there is nearly zero jobs available in this field, you can still get jobs in industry if you have done chemistry But physics is a useless piece of sh*t Then COVID hit it made the situation worse. Then here I'm preparing for govt jobs doing freelancing from the skills which I learned in less than 3 months now I'm wondering what if I had given all the time to freelancing which I wasted on physics. And even after doing M.Sc you can't get a job in school as a teacher you need a fu*king b.ed degree which cost you around 1 lakh + it'll eat your 2yrs worth of time A human being lives around 70yrs avg If this useless degree takes 10yrs of your precious life not to mention you still need to struggle for job for years When you're gonna live your life? At this point I feel cheated, i can't blame anyone as the decision was mine. I have seen people with Phd in physics are unemployed. So I stopped myself from doing Ph.d that's gonna make the situation even worse. Now I'm earning decent amount of money from freelancing using my M.sc marksheet as a mouse pad 😝 I'm kinda optimistic person I see the world in positive way. Learning and doing investing in cryptocurrencies which is not to mention my another source of income. Overall life is now good now 😌 I'm glad I refused that Ph.D offer

I had taken Bsc Physics Hons. in 2018 , But , in 2019 , I dropped ..Not because , it was tuff .. ! Because , The college teachers had no interest in teaching . Only , 2 out of 7 were good . Many teachers used to come in class , discuss the topic and suggest youtube video by saying ,"I have some official works to do " . Any how , I got failed in Mathematical Physics and scored 53 out of 75 in Mechanics and 48 in general maths. Later , I came to know there is no option in physics except research and teaching . Beause of my low marks in 1st sem , I got demotivated about my MSc entrances like , IIT JAM etc. So , I thought of taking a second chance about BSc Physics and starting from 1st year but not from the same college . So, in 2nd sem I thought of giving up and pursue BSc physics from , Presidency university , Kolkata . But , it was too late for appying for PUBDET , Presidency University Entrance . Later , I gave up and took Bsc Electronis Hons. in the same college , and It has been 1.5 year and in Bsc Electronics , I scored more than 8.5 cgpa in each semester . My friend who had taken Physics hons with me , they got also failed in electrodynamics in 2nd sem . Yet , I am still confused about my future. Because the same scenario is with Msc Electronics . The only befinit of BSc Electronics from WBSU is that , It is in accordance of the syllabus of GATE and UGC-NET . Even there are programming languages and HDLs in syllabus . But they are not in that much detail . e.g., C, VHDL ,and MATLAB . But the problem that only rises , I don't have any other option except cracking the exams like , GATE , UGC-NET , ISRO etc. that also after Msc .

However , If you are good at C programming , which you have been taught in your BSc Electronics syllabus , You can master the language and get a job . But , I will suggest you to go for atleast MSc . Many of my seniors are working in Infosys . Msc Electronics teaches many skill , which is required for job . But remember , Try to get good University . !

I also took admission in BSc Electronics in Patna, Our college is only college in Bihar which has electronics as a subject to choose. But later I realise that you can't do job in electronics sector with this degree because B tech degree is preferred/or say 99% for any job in electronics. I suggest people to do B tech if interested in technology or Science. Even if doing BSC choose subjects like statistics or mathematics instead.
