BSL for Beginners: Receptive Practice (Level 1)

As someone who isn't actively learning bsl but has an interest in doing so, I was excited to find out I could understand the majority of these! It is a very intuitive language!

I'm surprised because I have been lax with my practice but I got around 12 of these, this has helped me see where the gaps are. Thank you! This receptive practice is so helpful. I appreciate it.

This is a really useful video. Lots of videos for learning BSL don’t tell you the words or sentences for the signs, if you don’t know the sign I find it very difficult. I would love to see more videos like this 😊

I didn't count specifically, but it felt like about half of them. Some I got, some I got the gist, some I got a word or 2 and others were completely unfamiliar. More work to do!

This was really good! Pleased I got quite a few (didn't count though, I reckon around 15 maybe?) but I admit I had to slow it down to 0.5 speed 🤦🏻‍♀️ learnt some new vocab though! I'm learning purely for interest and in the hope that, if I meet anyone who is deaf, I can speak with them about as well as I could any other language. Might be a bit broken but at least something! Thank you for your videos!

I probably got around 80% right 👌🏽.. any tips on how i can improve my finger spelling..i struggle to keep up.. and can only guess correct if its slow motion🤦🏽

Awesome thanks! I think I got about 16. I'm so slow at reading fingerspelling! Is that a dyslexia thing or just a me thing?
