Great demo Chris! You answered all my questions! Good to get a sense of the small screen size. Good to know there are different settings from close-up to wide angle. When using a combined camera/recorder like the Zoom Q2n, what is the process for editing the audio? Do you strip the audio out of the MOV file, edit it in Pro Tools or Ableton and then somehow put it back into the video file? Struggling a bit with this and would appreciate the help. Thank

But at 4:45 shows the Zoom but lists the iphone7 on the screen, Zoom Q2 when listed on the screen sounds much louder but then the Zoom camera is not shown recording in the clip. Please clarify. Maybe the quieter is the Zoom and you think it sounds better? THanks for the video.

Directly it will ruin the audio of zoom q2n ,. but , digital piano to a mixer (so that you can level the volume) then to q2n it is okay.

Thanks for the demo. I just bought the Q2n (June, 2017), and I'm having problems when importing the files from the Q2n folder onto my Music folder (Mac). The videos playback fine in the Q2n folder, but when I copy (drag) them to a new folder (in my Music folder), there is a 0.5-1.0 sec. pause when the videos are playing back. Have you run into that problem? I contacted Zoom cuz I think I have a faulty camera. Thanks.

We have not run into that issue, you may want to try another SD card. If the issue continues, contacting Zoom again may be your best option.

forget the tuny built-in batteries, they are useless for anything over an hour of recording. The video quality is not impressive, mine looked like is was filming though an overhead foil, I sold it again as I couldn't live with the video quality. The annoying thing is that there is just about no other products out there like this for live recording of your band concerts with a decent stereo sound and good video. I might have to buy the Q2N 4K

I just got it and realized I can just plug it into the laptop using the USB and it is powered without the batteries. You can also get an electrical adapter to use it by plugging in. :) Just make sure it's the right amount of power for the unit as detailed in the manual.

doesn't work too good for windows do it ? u have to use at low quality level and run the gamut of going from mpeg to mp4 . 2 battery operation is a bad joke ask anyone who tried that. @@scottbegonias313 I've filmed a lot of shows with it and it's poor quality, especially in the dark, where most shows are! what else: I'm trying to figure this out. I guess most people just record their audio on a separate handheld recorder? It's a shame the idea of a "musician camera" has not been done more widely
