I think Melissa sounds even better now that she is older. She is just amazing. I've never been one to be all googly eyed over a celebrity--especially rock stars. But here I am, 49, more than 25 years after hearing my first Melissa tunes and I'm head over heels in love (platonically--I'm not gay LOL) with this woman. She is my mother, my sister, my best friend, my teacher, my healer. She speaks to my soul. She is transcendent and grounded at the same time. She is a gift to this world, and to my life.

Beautiful. Love heals. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and he proposed to me in 1968. The Vietnam War was going strong and he joined the USMC. Meanwhile, my parents moved our family 3000 miles away. We lost track of each other for 43 years, marrying and divorcing others and raising families. I finally found him on classmates.com in 2008. On September 18, 2018 we finally got married ~ 50 years after the proposal. Love is sweeter the second time around. Second chances are the best. BTW ~ I've been to over 20 of your concerts. Thank you for writing the songs of my life.

Melissa... One day about 30 years ago I walked into a Tower Records (yes, a record store) and the clerk was playing Brave and Crazy (the whole album)... I bought it on the spot and it's still one of my favorite albums of all time... Thank you for all the great music... and inspiration...
