This is a joke and don't say it's for GOD cause that's rude. The bible says sing for joy, not rap for joy, the angels in heaven sing they don't tap. Someone once said to me that if you won't rap in front of GOD in heaven then don't do it all. Gospel rap is just a way for worldly Christians to rap and convince themselves they are doing it for GOD. Don't deceive yourself, don't deceive GOD and don't deceive others.

You're making a lot of generalizations here. Not all Christian rappers are worldly. Many of them faithfully proclaim God's word and reflect their beliefs thru their lives. If you are going to argue against Christian rap, be sure to root those arguments in scripture, not tradition. Yes we are called to sing to the Lord but that doesn't mean that rapping is prohibited in scripture. Plus much of the Bible is written poetically. If one were to recite poetry with rhythm, that would be rapping. Is that really wrong? There are people who testify that they have been saved because of how Christian rap impacted their lives. The fact that Christian rap is alive allows the Gospel to reach a much bigger demographic and that is a good thing. Now I'm not defending rappers who live double lives and try to praise the Lord in one breath and advocate sin/vanity in the next. But I want you to know that there are real Christians who rap for God's glory to spread the Gospel

mm smith, read your bible well before misleading people. The bible says all things were created by HIM and for HIM. Satan is no creator, only GOD creates. What makes a song God's song is not the style or how slow it is, but the anointing. That is not how you judge....you can still have a worshiper singing your favourite hymn but not living right!
