BT Magic - Euro and Streamer Session - Michigan

We set out on a somewhat off the beaten path river to do a some euro nymphing and streamer fishing for trout. It's a fun river to float and isn't necessarily numbers water but that's made up by the incredible scenery. Day started tough but we eventually turned it around and found a few fish.

Steelheading the euro trash rod this past week - got so frustrated with nothing coming, so I threw on a giant meat whistle almost out of spite and BANG I was on!

Is that a yeti go box or cooler? If so what size? I'm going to buy a big shoals and didn't know if I could fit my cooler near the rower's feet

Hey Luke. That's the Yeti LoadOut GoBox in the video. I do have the Yeti Roadie 24 Hard Cooler also. When I bought the raft I had an RTic 45 I used in my drift boat and it was way too big (for the raft). The Yeti Roadie 24 fits perfect. If doesn't fit under the front seat because of the height but sits behind it, in front of the rower. It's about the same footprint as the GoBox and there's plenty of space for the rower legs.

@@FlyFishtheMitt thanks for the help! I have the same RTIC45 and it sounds like will have to use it for the front seat or just get something smaller. Also, another great video as always

@@lukevanblois8099 Thanks for checking the video out!! I wanted to avoid the big cooler for the front seat for mobility and weight reasons. Can certainly be done but I went to a raft to be more mobile. The Yeti 20 soft side cooler fits perfect under the seats.

@@FlyFishtheMitt every float I have done on that river has taken like 3 times longer then I had planned, literally have also said "how is that even possible" while staring at the mapping on my phone 😂, good to see I'm not the only one
