Don't forget that the video has very low sound quality which distorts the frequency balance of the sound.

He DOES use Logic. I have 1:30 DVD of him teaching how to do stutter editing and a lot of neat tricks in Logic.

to accuratey answer this program, he is using reason v1.0 for os9.. as well as EMAGIC LOGIC AUDIO PLATINUM .. apparently v6 for os9, the final version produced by emagic for os9 right around the time apple bought them out.

He just makes sounds in reason, to make loops or bass lines to use later. I use it that way too, unless I'm playing live

oh of course, i'm talking about it's physical properties. Shape and size, materials of surfaces, lack of absorption/diffusion etc. The reflections in that room would be terrible, and despite the poor sound quality on the video you can 100% hear the reverberations around that room. He's using near-field monitors but even then the rooms just too reflective. you couldn't possibly do a mixdown in that room. Ask BT
