At 14:57 I should clarify that you need an armor form on the field to ignore the color restriction of fire rocket and Magna X is, in fact, not an armor form. Also another tidbit I don't think I mentioned is that if you swing into security and hit something bigger than Magna (say 14k), Magna X's all turns will trigger before the battle, unsuspending it and giving it +3000 DP, making it 15K by the time the battle actually happens, hence another way you can be safe from security threats.

I thought everyone's been saying the security battle needs to resolve first prior to the immunity triggering? That's why people are running Blinding Ray to trigger immunity prior to checking a security if they are worried about Magnamon not surviving.

@@SecurityCheckmate Security battles are always the last thing to occur, it might help if you take a look at the official attack flowchart. What DOES trigger before magnamon X is security effects (like heaven's judgment, gaia force, etc) so that's why blinding ray is used to dodge option card effects.

I am experimenting with Collision a lot at the moment. I think one should mention if restricted dorugreymon (sec+1) would digivolve into dorugoramon via X-Antibody the timing for collision is NOT over, since as you stated its a passive effect which will force opponens to still gain blocker and block if able

I didnt realize how "unaffected till the end of () turn " works. So magnamon has protection like belphemont, and in that match up i completly ignored that my effects would linger after the protection had gone😮 all of the sudden i see now

The on play example your looking for I can give it’s like having shakkoumon partition but your under ruin mode and have the chessmon tamer on field you won’t get on plays but the tamer will see that digi played so you can tap the tamer and gain mem and draw a card

Maybe someone can tell me the Ruling about this i didnt find anything online. If i attack with BT12 Imperialdramon: Dragonmode and use its "End of Attack" effekt do Digivole it into the BT16 Imperialdramon Fightermode Ace. Is "End of Attack" finished after i digivolved or is it still considered end of Attack and i can use Fightermode Aces "End of Attack" to unsuspend and Bounce ?

Good question. In my opinion doesnt unsuspend and bounce, cause the attack was made by the Dragon Mode and already ended, triggering the Dragon Mode's effect.

I heard that there had been a ruling that the inheritable effect of EX6 patamon could end magna X's attack (while immunity is up) because it's affecting the attack process, not magnamon itself. Is that ruling true, and if so, wouldn't that also mean redirects like BWG X or Izzy would work, as they are affecting the attack process, not magna X?

Rapid and tyrant use a lot of cost reduction and memory gain. Tyrant also plays a hell of a lot by effect. Likewise the terriermon that blocks enemies from gaining memory apart from tamer effects is very cool in mirror matchups and against tyrant

It doesn't say they get -4k when they become suspended, it say "All of your opponent's suspended digimon get -4k, how and when they become suspended is irrelevant

No psychemon does not allow you to gain memory. Partition says to play the digimon without paying cost so this does not work.

ok something that i haven't seen asked anywhere, let's say i used the yellow-red option (beastly dance) to play a digimon and jogress into dinobeemon bt16. i keep resolving the option and get the sec attack +1 and attack a player. before the attack resolves, i have to trigger and activate the when digivolving from my dinobee and fully resolve it. so i bring back a silphymon for example, give it rush and attack a player. i would then be attacking with 2 digimons at the same time right? the silphy attack should go first since it was the last thing to happen, right? i think this scenario is a first on digimon tcg...

AFAIK, the silphy should go 1st to resolve the attack since it was brought by the effect of dinobee, then dinobee attack resolves. but I wouldn't say they attack at the same time. since the last effect activated was Dinobee's, Silphy attack should resolve 1st holy cow. EDIT: I have someone else review this and the answer he gave me was: No. The attack Dinobee is a must for the Option effect and the digimon it brought can have the rush but can't attack since Dinobee is already attacking, it can attack normally AFTER the Dinobee attack is fully resolved. you can't have battle with 2 digimons at the same time

Im glad i watched this video cause I was wondering if the new dragon mode can evolve into fighter for free against blast and it answered my question. Also I didnt know it can evolve when your opponent use a training card. wouldn’t fighter mode ace end of attack eff also proc if you use the D.M eff to evolve into it to counter the enemy ace evo?

End of attack only triggers on your turn after your digimon has finished attacking

Maybe its covered later, but with Rapids -4k do both these effects resolve? BT14 kunemons on play ability to search by suspending, and is an attack successfully redirected if you have a blocker with 4k or less dp?

Kunemon will resolve, its effect suspends it on resolution, so you have to finish resolving the effect before the game checks for DP. It will die inmediatly after resolving it'.

I have a question about sealsdramon. Its effect makes it so that "this digimon gains RUSH and cant be blocked" how does this work with redirection? Specifically from BT15 Izzy?

If something cannot be blocked, a card like bt15 Izzy will be able to redirect the attack since it doesn't count as blocking. Basically, redirecting is the general category and blocking is a type of redirecting. But conversely if a card like bt13 machgao says it can't be redirected then Izzy nor a regular blocker would work

Which is why Gracenovamon decks can be pretty good against it, since Crescemon & Good Night Moon can keep it from activating it's effect again if they don't have a way to get rid of a security & Gracenova itself can dna digivolve at the begining of the opponent turn, when it's not protected, taking out it's sources & deleting it without recourse

Retaliation is considered an effect so magna will not be deleted. Same can apply to fanglong or tyrantkabuteri (when it's suspended).

Does Magnamon's protection end before or after the opponent's end of turn effects resolve? For example, say I have Tyrantkabuterimon and another Insectoid digimon with 16k DP and my opponent has a MagnamonX with 15k DP and protection active. During the end of my turn, am I able to use Tyrantkabuterimon's effect to suspend my other Digimon to bottom-deck their MagnaX?

Unfortunately, no tyrant in this case wouldn't be able to get rid of the magna. When effects like magna say "until the end of the turn", it means until the turn has literally passed. This is different than "end of turn" text boxes on cards, as these will happen after memory has passed over 0 and all other effects are done resolving, but before the turn has actually passed.

Another question. If you have multiple digimon with motimon inheritables, can you attack multiple times? I thought I'd seen a ruling say that you could only do one due to timing. But this makes it seem like you could effectively queue them up?

I don’t think so. You couldn’t do that with multiple arresterdramon superior modes so I assume the same would apply here.

You can't. For the same reason of Arresterdramon Superior Mode. When the first end of turn attack happens, the game force you to resolve all pending effects before proceeding to battle, so you're forced to resolve the other end of turn attacks, and as you can't perform an attack during an attack, the other end of turn attacks wont work.

@@tomw4955 Hi, for your specific question, when a new effect is triggered, while there are still effects pending activation, the new effect takes precedence, and goes on top of the ones that are pending, which means it activates before. Basically, everything new that happens goes first, even if there are still effects waiting to activate. Now, this question goes a bit deeper so let me go step by step (its a fun scenario): -Rhino triggers and activates its "when attacking" effect. Evolving into Tyrant. -2 effects trigger here. Tyrant "when digivolving" effect and Dragon Mode "All turns" effect. As is the turn of the Tyrant player, their effect activates first. -Tyrant player activates the "when digivolving" and plays a GranKuwaga Ace. -Here, 2 effects will trigger. GranKuwaga Ace "On play" effect AND Dragon Mode "All turns" effect will trigger AGAIN. (All of this while the first "All turns" of the Dragon Mode is still waiting to activate) -And again, as is the turn of the Tyrant player, GranKuwaga Ace will activate before Dragon Mode effect. Destroying the tamer. -Now is the turn for the second "All turns" effect to activate, however, as the tamer is no longer there, it fails to activate. And then, it fails to activate again for the first trigger.

Magna has Sec -1 at the start of your turn so even if you remove a security card you are still unable to activate When Digivolving effects regardless of how you would activate them

One question, for partition (Paildra) in scenarios vs leviamon who deletes highest then lowest, does the partition occur after levia or during levia? because of the word would leave

It was ruled that Leviamon does delete the targets simultaneously. The bodies on board due to partition were not present on the board at the time of activation. Leviamon also cannot target the same Digimon twice with its effect. This was ruled earlier this week if I recall correctly. I am not sure if I got the reasoning right or not either so take my words with a grain of salt or two.

@@SheruMukoits not that it cannot target the same digimon twice, its the protection effects akin to Greymon X, Machinedramon/Chaosdramon can be used multiple times in response to multiple removal effects that occur at the same time, which is a flipping of the rulings from how it was being ruled upto that point, but is also only in effect for JP currently as it hasnt been made an official ruling for the other regions yet.
