I get it. I never had a problem with characters having volleys/barrages, Full Power Energy Waves, or Super Explosive Waves. And it wasn't like those were completely generic. The shape, colors, and amount of blasts fired(volleys) changed a bit.

Volleys have their advantages, such as using only 2 bars rather than the usual 3. also, in some situations its harder to dodge. it does significantly less damage than most 3 bar waves, but still.

In my opinion, I think just because Goten mispronounces the name of the attack that doesn't mean the name should be changed because he's still doing a kamehameha the same way everyone else does it, he's just saying it wrong.

Gotenks actually DID use Die Die Missile Barrage in the Dragonball Z movie; Dragonball Z: The Wrath of The Dragon. It was the barrage of golden ki blasts he used on Hirudegarn, before Hirudegarn shed his skin. It's a stock move that the character actually used. Other stock moves that characters actually have; Majin Vegeta's self destructing thingy (of which I forgot the american dub name. Though, I remember the japanese dub name, Atonement Blast.) Super Buu's Revenge Death Bomber (In the anime when Super Buu was fighting Mystic Gohan, he blew himself up to try to kill Mystic Gohan). Goku Super Saiyan 3 Super Explosive Wave (Don't tell me this didn't happen in the anime. It happened in a TV special ONLY shown in Japan. I saw it when I took a vacation to japan. P.S. You can't find it on the internet. It was ONLY shown in japan.) Cell Perfect Form's Perfect Barrier (In the japanese manga, this wasn't an attack, or a barrier. It wasn't an offensive, or defensive technique. It was Cell powering up). Vegeta Second Form base form Full Power Energy Wave Barrage (In the original japanese manga, this was actually a form of Galick Gun.) Et Cetera.

i like your reviews, but it seems like you expect every character to have non-stock techniques. If no one had stock techniques then, no one would have any special techniques...if you get what I'm saying...it's hard to explain...but not every technique for every character can be unique, realistically. They have to have some stock. some more than others. Also, they try to focus more on main characters, not so much on the minor ones.

I should point this out. Trunks DID have a nameless energy wave attack in the show which he used against Goten in the World Tournament. He used the exact same pose to charge it, too. Since it didn't have a name, the game designers gave it a generic name.

Definitely, SSJ Trunks should to have Finish Buster as a Super, and Full Power Energy Wave Barrage instead of High Speed Rush. About Gotenks' base form, he should to have the Mouth Blast attack instead of that generic energy wave, his High Speed Rush is okay since it has some different animations (like the headbutt at the start, and those kicks with both hands on hips), and that "Kamehameha Cannon" actually exists, I don't remember in which game, but it exists. Replace the Big Tree Cannon with the Kamehameha Cannon for every Gotenks' forms

yea volley attacks are great to have, because they are helpful during gameplay. Also it's not always about what type of move that looks good for a character, but what will help them win or be effective in a battle against someone. That is what omega2040 is missing and keep calling the attacks lame.

I think the reason Goten has sleep is because Goten and Trunks are always sleeping in instead of getting up to train. Because they're little kids, they slack off a lot more. So I think the reason for the sleep was to emphasize that.

Base Goten could have been "getting excited" in place of "sleep". SSJ1 Trunks could have dropped the generic rush for Finish Buster. Gotenks could have had... Base: Big Tree Canon, satan/yamcha style Rush, KameKame Ha SSJ1: KameKame Ha, Galactic Donut, Ghost Attack SSJ3: Ghost Assisted Rush, DieDie Missile, Ultra Buu Buu Volley Ball and doing a Failed Kamehameha when powering down from SSJ3 would be fitting and funny.
