Crack Repairs: This video shows windscreen crack repair using the Esprit Windshield / Windscreen Repair System. You will see the repair of short cracks for all vehicles plus longer cracks for commercial vehicles.

Can a hairdryer heat applicator be used to dry resin? also must bullseye tap not be done and still effective repair??

Hello Bryan, You aren't drying the resin, you are curing it with UV light, so no you cannot use a hair dryer. Therefore the kit is supplied with a UV curing lamp. If you don't tap the bullseye and continue with a repair, there may have been a "leg" (crack) about to start that you may not fully repair, and a crack may appear soon after your repair. Therefore it is recommended to tap the bullseye to determine if a crack appears. Using this method will ensure a solid bullseye repair.

Will the drill bit work with a dremel?

The Esprit drill runs at 30,000rpm, so if your dremel can be regulated to 30,000rpm you can use it. Many dremel chucks are too large for the drill bits but you can check. If it fits, you can use it! Regards Adam Smith Export Marketing Manager BTB Tools
