Back after today's livestream, after you all talked about bloopers, and Blake mentioned being frustrated in some making of video or something. That sent me back here, because I completely forgot about seeing these back in the day and being pumped about the record. This was great to get to revisit. The cuts between the bloopers and the positive talk was perfect. Looking forward to whatever and all the band continues to put out in the future, and continually coming back to the good ol' stuff. Thanks for years of great music, guys!

this is awesome, could've given us a bit more of a preview though! I'm ridiculously happy with the fact that its still sounding like between the buried and me and has not been drawn towards any influences too strongly.

1:18 that is the only time i've heard a drummer so incredibly talented and musically intelligent that they didn't just lay a base for the music, but actively played a role as an essential element. most drum tracks sound the same, or at least somewhat similar; that was a distinct composition, as notable and individual as a guitar riff or a vocal line. truly amazing.

Blake's reaction to his drum tones expresses how I feel about every BTBAM song...

Well I have to say that Alaska was my first album by them, took some time to grow on me... But it is just one of the most atmospheric album experiences I've ever had. The Silent Circus is finally growing on me now. Colors was a hit from the first play, and the more I listened the more I loved it. I have listened to it so many times now that I have learned literally all there is to know about it, haha.

lmao at when he is getting pissed! I've been there and acted the exact same way! It's so frustrating when you mess up and it seems that after you mess up once you just can't get it right. You just have to stop take a break and come back and focus. That's what he did and my god that drum part turned out freaking perfect and tasty.

On KZbin: I wish when people were excited about something they didn't say they were going to "jizz themselves" or "jizz in their pants" or anything else jizz related. I dont want to imagine that and I hope listening to Between the Buried and Me isn't a sexual thought. On another note, I cannot wait for the new album!! Been rockin Silent Circus for awhile and need new album. I hope new album keeps progressing but also has some more brutalishness to it than Colors (which I think is great).

i went to the sabian website and compared sounds and that china is definitely the 19" aax-treme chinese or the 18" hhx chinese i am inclined to still think its the aax-treme because it is what he used on colors (i found in a modern drummer magazine) You might have an aax china that looks totally different, but thats because there is a difference between aax china and aax-treme chinese. you can check out sabians website
