Hi Lara, how do you decide which data source to use for TA? I normally use binance since this is one of the largest exchanges, yet the data for SOL (as an example) does not match what you show on your videos and as such would make the wave count invalid. Looking at bitstamp data for comparison, It shows what appears to be the same structure as what you use. But which is correct, and which should we therefore base our EW counts on?. Thanks

I'm using Barchart data for my Elliott Wave. I'm just using what I can get. I'm limited to what will synch with Motive Wave. They're all correct. Because crypto is global, no one data source will be using all global data. There will be small differences between different feeds.

Gaps cannot occur on crypto unless you are looking at ETFs.

Hi Lara, bar chart is incorrect in your BTC video for volume. The candle does not look correct either. Coinbase has the proper volume and candle. The volume is slightly less than the volume on May 15th. Also the gaps do not exist on Coinbase for either BTC or ETH. The bar chart data does not look correct.

It's not possible to have a gap in a 24/7 market is it. It all comes down to which exchange you use, I trade the coinbase charts because I like to use avwap, and I think it's something that institutional traders are more likely to use. Failing that the binance charts, they will be slightly different. I wouldn't get too hung up on historic volume data either, it's thought that a lot of the exchanges spoofed it to appear larger than competitors, trying to convince people that they're more liquid, and if you're trading large position size you need a liquid exchange, so courting whales. Mate, you're always getting ill, all the travelling I guess.

@@ElliottWaveAnalysis I've just noticed for quite some time that every few weeks you have a couple of vids where you sound like you're struggling with breathing or perhaps a sore throat, maybe I'm imagining that. I'm sure you know better than me when you're ill lol. No doubt you will have noticed we don't have the clearest water in the UK. West Wales is nice though, but no good for surfing.
