this is just a guess but they only have 12 teams and they have so many athletes that are on 2 or 3 teams that even if you could have multiple teams practicing at once (on dif floors) it wouldn’t be effective bc the athletes can’t practice w/ 2 teams at once anyways

this gym just has so much history and sentimental value for example the spring floor they got it from worlds 2010 when SE won their first worlds title and i personally love the homely feel of this gym i would much prefer going this gym(if i lived in the us) than the bigger ones

work on strengthening your core and other muscles you use while tumbling and stretch! the stronger and more flexible you are, the easier it will be to learn tumbling, especially front and back walkovers.

If you're having trouble kicking over, you really have to focus on your dominant leg and kicking as hard as you can to get over your body. If you have trouble going down, use a wall and walk your arms all the way down until you're on the floor. Keep your core tight and your toes pointed and squeeze your butt hard.

work on your flexibility and start working out to build strength in your arms with shoulder shrugs in a handstand against the wall, do planks, squats. Build muscle and flexibility and tumbling will come easier because you will have more power. Also, I just want to know... For school cheer, what is "a lot of tumbling" in 6th grade like a round off back handspring because that is a lot easier to get than it sounds or like a punch front step out round-off back handspring layout.

I know you’re probably eager to practice but it’s very irresponsible to have that many people crowded into one space at this time. The season won’t happen if entire teams are exposed to the coronavirus. The hand sanitizer from the beginning of the video is useless if you have them practicing in the same facility.

In NC stage 2 is no more than 10 at a time and no “gyms” open unless holding a camp type. 🥴. I hope everyone is safe

America is opening too quickly and acting like they aren't the main carrier of the virus. I agree it is definitely irresponsible to be training during this, especially being in the same facility touching each other and the mat. The whole country is reopening when it shouldn't be. I personally think they shouldn't have continued with the 20-21 season, or at least not train/compete until the cases die down.

I have no idea how they you tube algorithm pick this for me but these are some extremely talented young ladies and they are definitely going far, keep up the amazing work ladies. And my mind is blown how they do some of those routines without kicking the other girl in face or something, totally impressive and gravity defying. Things that don’t make sense... They are separated to stretch and then encouraged to meet new people with “social distance” thrown in as an afterthought and then seeing nobody distancing and then they tumble all standing together in a large group while tumbling... but i guess the hand sanitizer worked? 🤷🏻‍♀️ i wanna watch these videos as much as anyone else but seeing this in the middle of a pandemic is unsafe and it’s why the number nationwide keeps growing. I don’t want anyone to get sick, but why are they letting them gather in such a large number in a small space working out where the virus is easily spread?

At this point nothing anyone does is safe. You can't completely social distance during an all star cheer practice and while it's probably not the safest to do so, if their state is open and allowing them to do so we can't do anything else about it besides hope themselves/family stay safe
