Yesss my cousin was me and my other cousins cheer coach when we were younger. And we were the captains and she would tell us “you captain u should know this stuff” and she would be on us. @Serenity Hopson im not tryna argue, only give a thought. typically teens only act grown by doing grown people stuff (sex, drinking, etc). Very rarely have i seen a teenager act grown in a sense of maturity. On those rare occasions i did see a teen acting grown, they had parents who acted like Coach Black. Strictness within reason typically yields more disciplined people.

I wasn’t a cheerleader but I was on a step team for 4 years and this is exactly how our coach was. If yall never been on a competitive team then you have no room to speak on coach black being to “harsh” THIS IS HOW THE BEST TEAMS ARE MADE. You’re with your coaches almost every single day. They become another parental figure to you! Real competitive teams do not coddle and baby
