These Obyn Buffs Change Everything! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this hero has gotten the most love lately in regards to balance changes, and here we attempt a druids only CHIMPS run only possible due to these changes!

2:20 I found this to be super helpful on Geared in particular. You can use his thorns as a failsafe at the end of the track, and by the time they despawn, he's back.

so little mythbusting here, Lightning is actually really good on bottom path druid, since it triggers with attack speed Poplust makes it proc lightning more. Lightning is only useless on specifically Spirit of the Forest, but all the other druids use it fine

The RNG struggle with Obyn’s brambles brought me back to the Muddy Puddles completion.

As a casual player, it's been really nice using Obyn honestly. It's an easy hero to drop down and cruise through the early-mid game, transitions very easily into AoW which is good enough on most of the easier maps.

This isn't unique to Obyn, but I think the best way they could make more heroes than just Ben and Geraldo viable in bosses is to make certain heroes buff certain paragons. Like if they added a druid paragon that Obyn made stronger or a Mortar paragon that Sriker buffs. Doesn't have to be huge, but it'd let you specialize into one specific paragon, which not only makes non-money making heroes more viable but also rewards being preemptive and going into the event with a strategy in mind instead of just buying whatever the most expensive paragon you can afford is.

Super storm > than avatar of wrath, if you can save up to it. You don't need AoW to kill a round 100 BAD and superstorm handles DDTs way better. I am not sure if you can win w/ avatar of wrath and super storm only because the saveup is probably too hard. You definitely can win with superstorm + spirit, it's honestly not very hard on most maps with few lanes. This is definitely a hard map for this strategy, it really only works on single lanes.

Of course you can get both! Just get five poplusts and a ball lightning. Give it an alchbuff and village for best results. On easier maps, it has no issues saving up into superstorm by itself. Or get avatar of wrath first if the map is tougher. I've used this a bunch because ball lightning is my favorite tower

Obyn? One of the best heroes for beginners getting a buff?! This change makes Obyn literally one of the best heroes because Brambles can be really amazing in the correct situations. Overall, I like this update, Obyn is now better in panic situations when bloons are about to leak.

in 2 months I used this hero 14 times and yeah. he now saves your butt in chimps because of the passive ability for durids and magic towers. spirit of the forest is basically much better on easier maps. because of the longer pathways. the shorter the pathways the less damage it does. also it's best to have one durid because of him. than just use 2 ninjas and 1 super monkey. and you are save to speed run the chimp medals with just half of the maps. the hero makes all magic towers and mostly druids broken. XD

All of the money that wouldve been gained by just popping the bloons gets popped out as the bananas once the forest explodes. This still does not give any extra money

Obyn's Wall of Trees doesn't give money in Chimps. The money you saw was the money ISAB would've gotten from popping the bloons normally. Basically, WoT just delays when you get the money from popping the bloons, but doesn't actually give you extra
