I’d love to see Craig and the minds behind “Mexican ground karate” go one further. Rename all the positions and guards. Would love to see Craig teaching the reverse rabid Koala guard while wearing a sombrero.

Izaak is one of best grapplers I have ever trained with, if you have the opportunity to train with him, definitely take that opportunity. Wreslting, leg locks, passing, and submissions from everywhere, a very well rounded grappler.

This had bothered me too not knowing what it is. Basically its ADCC wrestling. Wrestling with jiu jitsu threats in mind and only able to score when the opponents back and shoulders are pinned down on the mat.

Newbie here: what's the meaning/story behind the 3,2,1, clap thing? (I find it kinda nonsense...)
@donovanb90202 жыл бұрын
You see it in a lot of sports, tbh. We did it during wrestling practice, as well. It's just one of those team things, I don't quite know how to explain it other than that.

It breaks the trance people fall into when they watch you teach. If you don’t do it they take forever to go back and drill the technique. Puts the brain in work mode again
