After I got one of the first DMR6X2 radios, I convinced several people to buy one for themselves. After swapping codeplugs and lots of telephone "tech support" calls, we are all communicating from different states! The CPS is very well done and super easy to use. The BTech has features that no other DMR radio has, like the repeater, cross mode and store-and-forward...

An observation with my 868... pausing scanning in VFO mode stops on the current frequency. However, pausing scanning in memory mode does not stop on current memory channel - it reverts to the channel when scanning started. Any ideas? A firmware fix required maybe? Thanks.

Could you kindly post a review comparing the two radios? The 868 is a lot cheaper than the 6x2, so is there any point in getting the more expensive device?

Haven't ordered the anytone yet because I looked at the CPS and it didn't look newbie friendly. Found a Houston codeplug wich N0GCG economized as BTECH and did a structural import of my MD380UV. Worked but now it won't load into the anytone CPS. I guess I will order one anyway but not looking forward to starting from scratch.

@bulldogbrower67326 жыл бұрын
Why would it be beneficial for tariffs on these products. No American manufacturer is producing radios exclusively for the amateur market that have increased their usability incrementally each year. Everyone knocks the Chinese market, but who else has continuously added features to its radios just for the ham community. They deliver features and capabilities at prices far below the American and Japanese price points. Let this market grow, don't hinder its growth. Just like the internet, it's technological capabilities are still outpacing our desires.
