Randy Bachman is the most influential 🇨🇦 artist ever. The Guess Who, BTO, Solo career. No one has done more. 🤟🤟🎸🎸

Randy Bachman figured out how to blend extremely heavy guitar riffs and fade to mellow parts of the song just like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin perfected. Thanks for that because BTO is truly one of the best bands to come out of Canada!

Very astute slideshow-featuring BTO with TIm Bachman instead of Blair Thornton--as it was at the time of this recording. -Bravo!

Yes! Drew's band The Hordogs played a bit of it on one episode. That clip could be found on KZbin some years back, but sadly I cannot find it anymore.

Bachman actually borrows from himself here. The riff was first used on Guess Who's "It's my pride" back in 1966 (?)

Unfortunately Tim Bachman died of cancer on April 28 2023. I've heard that Tim broke one of Randy's golden rules when touring, "No Rock & Roll Lifestyle". After a ten year break, Tim re-joined BTO in 1984 to record their self titled album, Tim replaced Blair Thornton and Garry Peterson replaced Robbie Bachman, Randy and Fred completed the lineup. Tim toured for several years with his own version of BTO with hired musicians, Randy allowed Tim to do that so that he could earn enough to pay off his debt's. R.I.P. Tim Bachman.
