One of the things I appreciate most about BTOB is their sincerity towards their fans. They always try to make us happy and feel comforted. as you get to know some of BTOB's discography you will notice they put some of their hit songs in the Lyrics: Missing You, Its okay, Only one for Me and beautiful pain, and then "the song" and yes, it was a very emotional song when I heard for the first time. it was a comeback after almost 4 years of military hiatus. lol if you want to know something... amazing and yet infuriating... Eunkwang had literally just barely recovered from Covid and had come out of quarantine when they went on Sketchbook. (I say infuriating because he sounds perfect even though he still wasn't feeling great. And he definitely pushed himself to be on Sketchbook.) Yeah that's Minhyuk - Hyunsik is the one with the ^^ smile.

The Song is a love letter from BTOB to Melody. I cried when I first listening to the song. It hits hard as it was their comback as full team and they gave such a huge present for their fan. I read a lot of review said that other songs from the album, namely "Higher" should be the title track, but I am so touched that BTOB choose The Song as their title track as a gift to Melody and nothing can persuade BTOB from their genuine love for Melody. They dont sell CDs, they sell emotion ❤

I cried the moment this song was released last year. It was the first song Illhoon was not in the group, its their 10 years anniversary and all the member were discharged from military. 11 years has passed and all of those happy and struggle moments shared together by btob and melody put by BTOB by this song. Its worth Btob to stan for 11 years . Thank you for appreciating them ❤ Btw if btob didnt enlist in military for 4 years since the peak of their career and populairty in 2018, I bet many people will love them and became known worldwide but of course btob is btob whoever listen to them , melody or non fans it always touched your soul.

Thank you for this, this is really a special song for Melodies. Yes, this was their 1st comeback after a 4yr military hiatus w/ Peniel waiting for them coz he's the only one who didn't have to enlist since he's an American citizen. Also their 1st comeback without Ilhoon & both Idols & fans were feeling the loss heavily. And this song speaks of their past, their journey, how thankful they were of Melodies for waiting..speaks of the songs they used to sing, memories shared & a promise to always sing for Melody til the end..it's touching, sad & nostalgic. Blue confetti symbolizes the Melodies always with them. Since Peniel waited for them to be discharged from the military..in the mv, they were the ones waiting for Peniel to come. This is a perfect fan song. (though, you should also check out their Never Ending Melody..it's as good) The live performance is so good..always great at singing live. Their live stages of this song have diff concepts and ending fairies..you should check them out. And you missed seeing the choreo of this song. Yes, they have a choreo of this song and they did all these dance moves while singing those harmonies. The music video actually have a deeper meaning, just like the blue post i actually think the blue post represents ilhoon lol,as u already know this album was released after their military service during that time Peniel waited patiently with melody for all the members to finish their military service but in the MV u can see all the members are in the bus waiting for peniel instead. And the millions of confetti represents melody, and in the bus during Eunkwangs part theres a lot of letters behind him it represents all the letters melody sent in the camp during their military days 😊 Maybe you can react to BTOB Beatcom ep. 151 if im not mistaken it is the recording day of "The Song" u can see the behind the scene or the making of the song and how it is recorded 😊
