For those who doesn't know difference between BTR and a state.Bodoland was a state demanded by Bodo people but GOI agreed not to give a full fledged state but to establish a state like territory inside Assam called BODOLAND TERRITORIAL REGION.It will have institutions,departments to function like a state but some departments are still under Assam

So for this xenophobia is fault of both the parties, i hail from Bhutan but live in Guwahati, when i visited Kokrajhar once, they were so rude to me and even more rude to Bengalis, it felt so awkward and a sense of fear but i never faced such hostility from bodos in Guwahati.
