How deep is the kpop rabbit hole? Well I started getting into BTS in April of 2019 and I'm still finding videos and info of things I still haven't seen yet. They've been vlogging and doing short videos called Bangtan Bombs since before they debuted which was in 2013. They have over 60 music videos and over 200 songs inluding their BTS songs, solo mixtapes and covers. BTS also has a fictional storyline called the Bangtan Universe that runs through some of their music videos since 2015, and fans are still trying to figure what it all means. Yes bighit started out very small and was also bankrupt at one point. Now bighit is worth billions and BTS members are now part owners of bighit. 7 is kind of an average number for a group. Twice a girl group has 9, Seventeen a boy group has 13, and NCT has wait for it 23 members, but they also do subunit groups. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in BTS. Jin age 27 (December 4, 1992) vocalist, Suga age 27 (March 9, 1993) rapper, J-Hope age 26 (February 18, 1994) rapper, RM age 26 (September 12, 1994) rapper, Jimin age 25 (October 13, 1995) vocalist, V age 24 (December 30, 1995) vocalist, and Jungkook (September 1, 1997) age 23 vocalist. Their live performances are insance and I was supposed to see them for the first time over the summer, but you know. BTS are very hard working, talented, charitable, and humble young men. They speak on topics such as mental health, self love, societal expectations, and so much more. BTS are so appreciative of their fans and give them acknowledgement for everything they accomplish. You feel connected to them because they share so much of their lives with us on and off stage. They break records constantly and their most recent music video Dynamite broke the record of the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 101.1 million views. Also recently they held both the number 1 and number 2 spots on the billboard hot 100 at the same time making them the only 5th group ever to do so (the other 4 were the Beatles, the Bee Gees, Outkast, and the Black Eyed Peas). Also all members get their chance to shine and each do their own solo work along with doing songs as a group. Why don't get they played on the radio. The answer is simple because they sing in korean. They only started getting decent radio play when they released Dynamite which is their first fully english song ever. Also BTS are releasing a new album called BE on November 20th, which I'm so excited for. Some videos I like are Dope, Fire, Fake Love, Blood Sweat and Tears, Mic Drop, On Kinetic manifesto film, Spring Day, and Dynamite. Actually I just recommend all their videos. I think a better introduction is 'The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS' by The Asian Theory. 'The 7 members of Bangtan' is good, but out of date. Xceleste's video is also good, but doesn't really talk about the individual members, and really speeds past their history.

I had heard about K-pop so much..but I avoided it coz I already watch way too many K-dramas..but then Black Pink popped up on my feed..then BTS..rest is history. My first BTS song was Mic Drop...I was like "O.K.", then I watched Idol live performance on Jimmy Fallon...Park Ji Min did it for me...seriously, that boy's looks are just criminal!! The way he looks at you..feels like he is looking into YOUR soul. That boy can sing like an angel and growl all in a split second..love him..and love BTS.

Really great intro of BTS to (hopefully) new ARMY, amazing job and thank you! Loved everything about the way things were explained. My guesses: Erin pointed out RM immediately, and also had a reaction to the Friends/English tidbit, so I'd say RM. Jenny picked out J-Hope from the photo but I'll say Jimin since to me she reacted to him the most in the MV - and as we all know, once you Jimin, you can't Jimout! JD kept me guessing but I guess I'll say Jimin as well because that's who she commented on the most? As for me, I'm all about Vmin - V bias, Jimin bias wrecker... but RM's coming for me.

Great vid. I love BTS reaction videos because I don’t have anyone else to enjoy BTS with. So it’s nice to enjoy it with other people. I think that is 99% of Army. Which is why people get millions of views on reaction videos. We tbh don’t have a place to go often. Aside from standing outside at a concert, meeting people who live 2000 miles away, it’s hard to make friends with other KPOP Stans. This video is going to be your most viewed video because of people like me. I wouldn’t mind more. It’s sad when Army gets elitist. Think about hobbies. Sports fans have clubs, fields and bars to meet other sports fans. Dancers have clubs and classes. Where does an Army go locally on a Saturday afternoon to hang and meet other Army?

Well done with the fantastic intro ... you articulated so well what I try to say when I introduce BTS to my friends, but I always descend into incomprehensible fangirling and get ignored (...I think I'll just play your intro in the future ... may get more wins!). Great reaction to a top tune. Appreciate the comments about airplay, its disgusting that the worlds top band cannot get regular airplay! Anyone who likes ANY "foreign" music, is predominantly attracted by the music first. With B.T.S. you hear the music, see the video and then read the lyrics. It makes NO difference to your enjoyment of the songs. These guys sold out Wembley TWICE! and were absolutely superb! They have a whole industry running scared and yet arent good enough to compete with the crap released and recycled daily in this country.

It's strange to hear 'Not Today' being referred to as one of the earlier MV's. I think of it as more mid-time-line. Early MVs are 'No More Dream' and 'War of Hormone' era.
