That’s why they are so big especially in the U.S because they sing about loving yourself and following your dreams. Artists in the U.S don’t really sing about mental health issues or loving yourself like BTS do and these days people need to hear that especially young people with online bullying and depression rising. A lot of artists in America like to sing about money, big houses, cars and finding someone to love or have sex with but BTS knows you have to love yourself first before you can love anyone

It's actually a very deep subject, even though people keep calling Persona's music "generic" or "bubblegum pop" - those seven songs are so much more and I don't think they sound anything alike to each other or to anything out there on the market. Bts really found something unique and true to them, which is any artist's dream. I fell in love with them for their hype songs, sharp dancing, and quirky messages, but it's songs like this one that made me stan.

I haven't been watching your reactions much these days cause I'm too busy adulting. But the last one I watched and this one, just show you're starting to feel their message in your heart exactly like how we, Armys, feel everytime we listen to their songs. Yes, it may sound cheesy to some people but those tears are proof that you're starting to let go and be true to yourself, without caring much about what others think of you - that's one step to loving yourself. This song was an epiphany for me. I have been ARMY since their debut, but this song resonates with me. It is so true. I'm not being bias but I really didn't care about lyrics until I've listened and understood BTS lyrics. Honestly lyrics saying cliché things like "cheer up", "you can do it", "it's gonna be okay" and not backing it up with stories are very shallow to me but BTS do it in non typical way. Their lyrics are always poetic and beautifully written. It's almost like bitter sweet. One of the major reasons I became an ARMY is because of their messages. Call me cheezy, but I really Respect them not just as a group/artists but also as individual human beings.
