26:54 was when I broke. Seeing Jung Hoseok, no Hobi, no J-Hope, just Jung Hoseok in his completeness is a rare and privileged thing, he keeps so much of himself private, only shows us the certain facets of himself he wants us to see and more power to him for it, so to see him raw like that is very special even though it hurt like hell. You can count on one hand the number of times he's let us in fully like that. Thank you Jimin for hugging him for us. And the last blow was Jin similarly fighting to keep it together like Hobi. *Listen* Until today I thought BTS were living the dream, the good life. Those old days of hardships and pain were all gone. That we are all safe and happy now. I was stupid and naive. I was wishing to think this way because going back to the nights I felt effortless and couldn’t help them win a single award was hard. Today winning is easy but little did I know that the more we won the more their shoulders had to carry expectations, responsibility, and pressure. Little did I know until Jhope cried saying “I worried a lot before going up here, before our stages we always think about showing you the best side of us, this award is really.. I would have cried even if we didnʼt receive this award”. To think it was this severe. To think I was a happy fan celebrating every win with a smile. To think my idols, my artists, my dream were going through so much. I thought for a second trying to console myself “This might be your imagination, maybe things aren’t that bad” But then Jin said _ “We even thought about disbanding (earlier this year)” _ And then all the positiveness I was so proud of vanished into thin air. My idols, my artists, my dream, were smiling for me all this time and hiding pain and tears. I was an idiot thinking we were happy now. I mean I am grateful for all the things that are happening, for all the opportunities and all the achievements. But I am also scared now for their mental health. I hope that from now on. We will not take BTS’ smiles for granted. Because when the light is the brightest the shadow is the darkest. BTS have been my main source of happiness for 5 years and I used to think that it was kind of sad that I couldn’t be happy without them, but I’ve realized that it’s okay to feel this way. I’m okay with them being the reason for my happiness. I used to be afraid to openly speak so passionately about them, but I no longer feel that way because they’ve helped me through so much without even knowing, and expressing my love for them through words is the best way I know how to repay them. I know that there will be a lot of people who won’t understand how I can love them so much, but that’s because they don’t know what it’s like to feel so alone in the world, where the only way to cope with that loneliness is through music. Music has always been my solace, because in a world where people are too afraid to express their feelings - music does it for them. That’s how I feel about BTS, not solely because their music, but their spoken words as well. I feel a little less lonely whenever I read their tweets and their long letters and replies to fans in the fancafe, whenever I watch their videos and see their happy moments and sad moments. Their words are always sincere and they make me feel again. Through them, I’ve also realized that there are millions of people in the world that probably feel the same way as me and it’s okay that we all feel this way. It’s okay to lean on someone when you’re feeling down, you don’t always have to do everything on your own. *It’s okay if BTS is your reason too.* The world’s biggest, most phenomenal, outstandingly humble and talented yet down to earth boy group was struggling with the thought of disbanding because of how hard everything was. We were so lucky to be able to get to know them more through burn the stage, their v live broadcasts and vlogs, and just from them being themselves everywhere they went, and yet we still know so little about the actual pain, struggle, and fight they go through. What would we do without BTS? They are such a huge source of hope and joy for so many of us, so to imagine life without them… ARMY, the most we can do is thank them, support them, respect them and their time and space, love them for who they are, protect them, and be there with them. No more fights. no more stupid wars and arguments over dumb soundless rumours that create even more unnecessary stress for them. No more saesangs and so called “fans” disrespecting their privacy and space. If you want to help them out in the least, treat them as you would want to be treated. They have done SO much for us, it’s the least we can do to help them and show them our love. Because if you truly love them, you’ll want to do that for these 7 wonderful human beings. They deserve at least this much. Take a minute to think that BTS could of disbanded at the beginning of this year, take a minute to think how we couldn’t of finished the path of love yourself; take a minute to think that they couldn’t have gone on tour this year and made thousands of armies dreams come true. take a minute to think that we couldn’t of received LY: Tear or LY: Answer but we did, we received so much empathy, love, support, beautiful voices, and laughs from BTS. And I thank them for that they’ve helped me find my way slowly but surely to love myself for who i am ; and i could never be more proud and thankful for a group like BTS. _Congratualations BTS! we _*_purple_*_ you!_

The fact that they didn’t disband and continued to work even harder even though they are known worldwide just showed all of us that they don’t do this for fame but they do this to inspire, share, care and make us Armys feel loved. Picking us up in our toughest times. Telling us and SHOWING us how mush they love us... they didn’t give up even when hates come in. They stood strong telling us we should love ourselves. Telling us they would be there. We trust them because.. they are our idols we look up to them, we enjoy their music. We love them in our own ways. I broke down into tears after seeing they won artist of the year. Everyone would have expected them to get it but they still showed so much appreciation on stage during speech. They stayed humble. Things will come to an end one day because nothing lasts forever but instead of crying over them, let’s show them that we will always treasure them and keep them in our hearts forever. Since 2013 when they first debuted I liked them a lot and until now I watched them grow. If we look back on how busy BTS is every single time, a normal person would've already gotten multiple burn-outs. No matter how long will they keep performing in front of us, I will always give my love till their end of journey. My heart broke when Jin said that they struggling mentally early this year and even considering disbanding. We will never see how much they feel pain inside, how their life will never be as free as us. Despite all the awards that they got, all the attention that they have... they are still the humble BTS, from a small company, called BigHit that we know. I'm an army and I'm proud that I became one.

저 심리적 압박 때문에 서태지와 아이들도 가장 인기 있을 때 돌연 은퇴 선언 했었지 팬들 단체 멘붕 오고...어제 해체 얘기 하는데 서태지와 아이들 돌연 은퇴 선언이 생각 나서 시겁 했음...서태지는 둘이 곁에 있긴 했지만 온전히 혼자 다 주도 하고 곡 작업도 혼자 다 했지만 방탄은 늘 7명이서 서로 힘이 되어 주잖음 ....혼자가 아니닌깐 더 탄탄 하게 버틸수 있을거 라고 봄....해체 했으면 우리는 우리나라 가수가 UN 가서 연설 하는것도 못보고 문화 훈장 받는 것도 없었을 거고 개인적으로 다른거 보다 UN 연설이 빌보드 보다 뿌듯 했는데....서로 힘이 되어서 앞으로 더 잘되길 바람 너무 완벽 하려고 하다가 제 풀에 지치지 말고 최선을 다하면 되는 거지...어제 수상 소감 들으면서 요즘 가장 잘 되어서 행복 한줄만 알았는데 보면서 안쓰럽더라...아직은 팬들 곁에 더 있어 주면 좋겠음...그리고 트위터에 슈가가 서태지 보고 밥 같이 먹자고 했던데 밥 같이 먹으면서 한번 겪었던 선배로써 좋은 얘기 해주면 좋겠음...어떤 동영상에서 지민이가 호비형이 울면 자기도 같이 울거 같다고 하더니 호비가 우닌깐 다른 멤버들도 감정이 북 받쳤나 봄...혼자가 아니고 7명이 같이 있는게 가장 큰 힘이 될거 라고 생각 함...완벽 하지 않아도 되닌깐 좀 더 팬들 곁에 오래 있어 주길...

I found BtS via an airing of Jungkook singing on King of Masked Singers 2 years ago. I wondered who this brilliant young singer was and when i found out, i too became a loyal and steadfast member of ARMY. They’ve previously said that they feel more like family and less like friends, and I think that for Tae specifically, their bond is incredibly important. They are basically a family. Just like a family, they argue, cry together, laugh together and love each other. So disbanding would be like distancing themselves from their own family. It has obviously been hard for them during that period. If they were on the verge of disbanding because of emotional issues, it means that they were in real depression. Tae is one of the youngest and he is very emotional (pretty all of them are), so looking back at that moment and thinking that they would have missed all the good moments they went through during those last month's must have been hard.

Guys I'm gonna be SO honest here Jin said they were about to disband due to all the pressure and I literally wanna cry because as army we love them all so much and their music but then it makes them want to work more and they're really overworking themselves and that makes me so upset because they're trying so hard for us day and night, losing sleep and food, and we cant really do much about it other than cheer and view their mvs but they deserve SO much more than just that. They've helped so many people and made their lives better just by a single song that has such a big hidden meaning, yet again all we can do is cheer. I just want them to rest and take things easy because in the end they're still human beings and normal people with a family and a life outside all the fame. The crown gets too heavy to cope sometimes and it gets too much. If BTS ever happen to stumble by this comment then I just wanna let them know that we're here for them a that we love them with all out heart, even though it may not be a lot, but I love them and support them to death and will keeps doing that no matter where life takes them in the future. ❤️💜❤️💜

Im 27. I love BTS so much. Been an ARMY for almost a year. Became an ARMY on December 26th last year, that was when MIC DROP playing in my car played by one of radio station in my country. I immediately got hooked up. I have friends who are in their 30s, 40s and even 60s are ARMYs. I have never experienced being in a fandom that are very diverse in age, ethnicity, religion and profession! I’m so proud to be part of it. BTS, thank you for not disbanding😭 I can’t help but cry so badly during the speech. No other artist that make cry this hard! But what i try to point here is, I’m a huge fan for their genuine music, NOT BY THEIR LOOKS. Many ARMYs who aren’t into Kpop in general just like me only listen to BTS because not only their music have good beats but the messages they incorporate such as women empowerment, social issues etc are reason why we don’t mind the language difference. The fact that they are so aware of the negative things that come with being famous, that they would consider making such a decision when they're already at the top makes me truly proud of them. They could have walked away from it all, but they worked hard and continue to work hard and that's what brings them out on top. Their speech brought me to tears, but I'm so glad that even though they endured so much, they have each other, in fact, I think they only have each other at this point. BTS was gonna disband in the beginning of the year cause stuff got too hard. We know the fact that BTS has been through so hard when becoming a group, from zero to hero, all the struggle, death threats,hate comments, political messes, sleepless nights.. The fact that they thought about disbanding but didn't because of us?? Because they believe in us and themselves that we will keep going.. If this ain't true love then nothing else is.. I'm so thankful that they didn't leave us because if they did disband then I wouldn't have known what happiness felt like. No, they weren't going to disband earlier this year. Jin said they HAD thoughts of disbandment earlier this year, which means they could've not renewed their contract with the company if things didn't go well. If you're not Korean, try searching for more trans from other sources/translators as well

As of today, August 2024, 6/7 members are serving in the military. The k-media & kpop stans out there are doing everything possible in their league to defame them, bringing up past closed cases to criticize them & spread hate, making them look like they are responsible for every wrong happening in the world, appointing shamans to wish for BTS's downfall & hyping up smallest of the things to make sure they shatters by the time they are back. Its like 2018 again. The only difference now is few ARMYs are somewhat getting divided, unlike in 2018, ARMY were united to fight for BTS. They suffered physically & mentally back then but now I'm glad that cuz of their services right now, they are getting to know things selectively & are not facing it directly. But I want to say this today that everytime the world wished for BTS's downfall, it ends up with them rising even more. This got proved once in 2018, it will be proved again in 2025. We real ones have always been here & will be by Bangtan's side no matter what. Just 10 months till their anticipated reunion!
