There's a book called The Notes which goes in depth with the BU storyline. It was released in 2019 April, i think. It explains from the beginning and also includes stuff from the webtoon (Read the webtoon "Save Me" before reading the book). The book continues the story from the webtoon..i downloaded the pdf of the book coz i won't be able to buy it lol. But the book explains a lot of plot and it is very easy to read. The book leaves us on a cliffhanger in the end. Bighit is releasing a video game called BU (The animated scenes were from the game) which explores the storyline. I think there's going to be a second book - The Notes part 2? There will also be kdrama based on this storyline in the future.(Bts won't act in it sadly). But basically Jin's dad is overseeing a construction which will leave Namjoon homeless because it requires them taking off container-like homes out of the site (the start of the video) When Jin was talking to the cat he asked the cat how he can save Namjoon and the cat told him to find the "map of the soul" but "there will be a price to pay" (*my theory is that jin has to pay his life to be able to save all of them but idk) Then in the scene where Jungkook gets hit by a car the cat is there again and says "so do you still want to save them?" I think the cat is trying to help Jin save them Taehyung has vision-like dreams that predict how each timeloop could possibly end The better Seokjin does at keeping the boys together, the further the timeline goes, and his dreams morph as new issues arise.

Played by someone in itzy i guess Idk much about them.. And the girl died) so maybe he can sense whenever jin time travels or smthnn? Don't know In the highlight reels v didn't go to jail for murder That was for vandalism He took the whole blame and when he was out the girl was no where to be to found but he did find a Msg from her saying smthn like this wasn't your fault or smthn V's sister took the blame for their dad's murder and she went to jail. I kind of have some observations from the thing at the beginning with RM, Jin and the boy. It looked like Jin was in his fathers office... Maybe when Jin was looking at the names on the list (namjoons name was on the list) he realized namjoon is living in the area that is going to be demolished. Jin was trying to warn namjoon, that he will die if he goes back, but Namjoon didn’t listen. Sigh 😔 Namjoon went back to save the boy, but ended up dying himself.. the boy could have been his brother.. I’m not sure of maybe he was just being a Good Samaritan! I hope this helped in someway, and awesome reaction 😆

The painting behind jin is called the raft of the medusa (1818-1818) its about a french maritime disaster where 147 surviors set out on a raft. Many died due to starvation, dehydration , or murder While others resorted to canibalism. Only 15 survived.

This is based off the webtoon 'Save Me', it continues in the Notes that were booklets in the Love Yourself albums as well as a book called The Notes 1 *Notes 2 book is being released next month*. Music Videos are also incorporated in the Bangtan Universe. Also there are signs that their Universe could also be entwined with TXT's storyline (Cat, door, etc). Each date relates to a journal entry from each member in the Notes, it reads as day, month, year (the year we believe relates to Jin's age *though i could be wrong). 2:43 Art major here! So that painting is called “The Raft of the Medusa”, and in my art history course the professor explained that the painting is about a tragedy that occurred to a sailing ship on sea. The people aboard built a raft and were left out there for roughly 13 days (I believe). However, during that period of time, people began dying and blaming one another. Some of the survivors often became trapped in between the planks of the poorly built raft while others slept and drown. Cannibalism also occurred (this is based on a true event if I remember correctly). I think the captain was at fault for the tragedy...can’t really recall, but I believe he also survived(?). It’s a pretty big painting too. Really neat. Edit: it’s not the same one in the bs&t mv

"The BTS Universe Story" is a new video game that's coming out, and this trailer is more of a concept story for the game. They had previously launched their first game "BTS World" and this is a new addition to the list. Also, in order to understand the story more, you need to read the Webtoon comic "Save Me" as well as "The Notes" as these are the basic adaptation to this trailer.

My theories: 1. Jin is in the future 2022 and is all alone. He is able to go to the past and see what happened to everyone. See how they all died by going through their MV's I need You, Run and Prologue. He learns that V actually put a pic in his pocket and unlike all the pictures in the past, there are 7 people not 6 in the pic. I feel like he cries cause he realises that he had been oblivious to the fact that he was loved. Maybe he can change the past? 2. BTS all go to the army for mandatory service together and return to release a music video in 30th Sept 2022. 3. This was filmed at the same time as prologue and Bighit kept it until now and filled the blanks with animation. They all had the same hairstyle (V has had very different hair this year, couldn't have filmed it now) and Jungkook has no tattoos there.

- i think the different scenes we see with slight changes are the different time travel dimensions jin goes to in order to keep every member safe. - the cat says to jin after he asks for a way to save namjoon "you have to find the map of the soul". it then says "there will be a price". i think the price to save everyone is that he will lose everything they went through, that's why we see the memories from different mvs turn to dust, thanos style. and at the end they can never meet, so that's why kookie is alone in the classroom they all went. - jk is remembering things from the past that is gone (him getting hit by a car), and so is joonie at the beginning, when we see flashes of jin trying to hold him. they are wearing different clothes in each flash, meaning those are each a different travels/dimensions. - when the boys disappear at the classroom, it means that was what happened in the past, but they lost that because things would end bad if they met. - btw, am i the only one who almost shed a tear seeing hobi with a broken foot, not being able to dance in the part he was choreographing or whatever? i cant even imagine that, jesus - also, this is what just i understood personally :)

It is the year 22, not the year 2022. The years in the BTS universe are counted by the age of Jin, who is the "protagonist" of the story, all the events that will be seen in the game are already in the notes. And recently the publication of the second took of the notes was announced. All the notes are on the Twitter of the Smeraldo florist. All the events to be seen are also after the events of the highlight reel.

I think the RM scene that confused you is where the entire story starts, it's the first time Jin travels back. The whole universe was started by Jin's intention to save RM, he ended up trying to save the others after he realized how much the others were going through.

They have a game coming out later this month based on the universe! This is the trailer for the game. If you can you should read the HYYH The Notes 1 and then The Notes 2 comes out in October I believe, which is also based on the universe and gives more context and follows the storyline.

That painting is the Raft of Medusa by Theodore Gericault. It's meant to represent chaos and devastation, so maybe it's a hint at what is to come in the video? Also when Seokjin meets the cat, the cat tells him that he should find the Map of the Soul in order to save everyone. Later when Jungkook gets into an accident, he is asked if he wishes to survive - to which he says yes - which is why he remembers that he was in an accident and tries to find out who knocked him down (allegedly Jin himself). It is thought that Jungkook, in making a deal with the cat, gets stuck in his own time loop too. What Seokjin finds in the cupboard is a notebook with the name Kim Changjoon, who is Seokjin's father with whom he has a strained relationship with and the town's mayor or something if I am not wrong - Kim Changjoon was also interested in urbanising the part of Songju where Namjoon lives (the containers) so I think the thugs represent the destruction of his home.

It's a lot of information to keep up with. The BTS Universe story is told throughout specific music videos, the Highlight reels, Wings short films, The Notes 1&2, the Webtoon 'Save Me' and now the BTS Universe Story game (this video is the trailer for it). Because of the whole traveling back in time thing, the timeline gets confusing. So basically if you aren't keeping up with all of that, you're not gonna make sense of all the things happening and the timeline. There is a drama in development based on the BTS Universe, it's called 'Blue Sky' they actually have already finished casting but the drama won't air at least until late next year.

The way I interpreted the beginning was, Jin had gone back and “fixed” something, so he thought everyone would live or have a better future, but really the butterfly effect caused things to go to shit again, hence the first scene with RM and Jin walking away from it upset. There’s so many of these scenes in the notes, and it kind of explains jin’s struggles to change things in more detail!
