Jimin is one of the main dancers of the group. He started with popping and locking. He went to hip hop academy. He studied contemporary dance in Busan art highschool (and graduated as Top Dancer). He joined street dance battles and won almost every time. He also received a plaque of appreciation from the Cultural Conservation Society for his fan dance at MMA 2018. He's a LEGEND. BEST DANCER.

Jimin truly is the best dancer not only in bts but in kpop as well!💛 jimin initially was a street dancer. he did hip-hop and popping since he was a kid and always won the battles, even against his teachers sometimes. those who say he's a contemporary dancer only obviously don't know his background at all, because he learned contemporary and ballet only for one year. (he reached great heights thought even in such short time). So Jimin is an endlessly versatile dancer, he can pull off every style🔥

for the record the reason fans are usually so against them being called a boyband is mainly because of the "baggage" and the pre-conceived notions that come along with that term. If we just look at the actual definition of the word bts ARE a boyband but the thing is that a lot of the things we've come to associate with boybands don't really apply to them. They've raised the bar a lot and set themselves apart from the stereotypical boyband that usually sings pop songs about romantic love all the time. So yea, we don't love that term for them because people who don't know them will see the word boyband and automatically form a very inaccurate image of them based on what they think a boyband is. In fact i can't count the amount of times ive seen people say "this is definitely not what i expected them to sound like" when they hear bts for the 1st time, specifically because they had that stereotypical boyband image in their head before ever even listening to them.

Yes. This is a good take. Separating them from G e n e r i c boyband's yes as they have slightly different characteristics that make them unique like their wide genre field that the music they make has, their appearance or moral compass or whatever. which is good don't get me wrong. but they are still a Korean - boy - band. they do fit the stereotype just with those quirks that make them special and shine in mainstream music culture. The only thing apart from any others are that they are more popular. Music artists do not just simply rise out of their category. it's like you see it as ranks and that the name Boyband is a badge of their rank. and they are Locked to their full potential - I'm not sure if I got you wrong. But I feel as if you are disregarding the origin of these men. they're Korean men that so happened to make music and create entertainment like every other band has been doing. here. Just because they are all of a sudden different aspects doesn't mean they aren't under that line of music. I think from what I read is that you aren't comfortable with the fact that they were thrown under the bus with these stereotypes, thoughts, preceptions whatever. that separating them from that label will Just remove those views and resolve them all. sadly it doesn't work that way. You perceptive is an eye-opener and We all wish people didn't pin things to labels but hey. Our boys made it through the MOB called mainstream music and they're thriving as the kings they deserve to be. we can only appreciate that they made it alive. xoxo

I have never understood why American radio hasn’t been playing BTS. They are so popular around the world and the language issue is ridiculous. Songs like Fire (Burn it Up) and MIC Drop have such great beat and vibe that they would do well on the radio. I feel it’s discrimination against Asians and that needs to STOP! BTS out sells and performs American artists and it’s time they are recognized by American entertainment.

I moved to US 30 years ago, back then America has lots "feel good songs" and "lift your spirit songs". This is a main reason why I listen to BTS. They deliver me both.

It's completely fine imo to have a preference and an opinion on who you think is the best dancer. Some say JIMIN and som say JHOPE. There is no right or wrong answer to this because it's a personal choice. For me, it's Jimin and that's why he is my favourite but it doesn't make Jhope less of a dancer. If someone says Jhope is the best dancer, I will never try and fight them or change their opinion. I hope everyone can see this is just common sense and stop attacking people for giving their preferences.

Yeah I agree like for me jhope comes in like fire and jimin more smoothly Probably because of their dance backgrounds but I am a fan of jhope's dance techniques so In my opinion its jhope just because of the dance style I like, but jimin is an AMAZING DANCER!

I agree with everything everyone else is saying and Tae is defo coming to wreck every armys bias and bias wreckers lists especially with that smile at the end, also my Jiminie i still cant get over him and that ‘finger bang’ he does he owns it, also the way he looks into the camera and stares into your soul and heart. Also ther dancing and vocals (especially the raplines as i wasnt expecting them to not rap at all) and attitude they give off is just perfect. Also for being their very first song fully in english just goes to show that they have improved alot (from what i have heard and read Korean is easier to learn than english). Also the fact that every Army right now is being biased wrecked by every member including their bias just goes to show how perfect and amazing these guys are and that they do such an amazing job with what they do as well
