Keep in mind that some members were not dancers at all before BTS. Some were underground rappers, 1 member never intended on trying out for BTS, and 1 was pickup on the street. Only 3 members were interested in dancing prior to BTS. Those who were not dancers have worked hard and improved tremendously, and deserves credit. I personally consider them all dancers now. 💜

In 2:29 of this video, Jimin did what he called a marionette move, referencing to oneself as puppet in a fake love relationship. If the song tackles purely a sad fake love, it is because this song is interrelated with the other songs in the album as there is a story line within the album. Also, this song is also a part of a bigger storyline, the Bangtan Universe (BU), which runs in many of BTS albums. Just glad you can still enjoy it as it is but it is not just what you think it is. Not as simple as you can see for it is really more than you can imagine. Each member has his own story running within the songs of different albums. Welcome to the BU.💜

It's basically a storyline that BTS is trying to make. It runs through most of the albums and songs. It combines, music videos and albums to make up a whole story. So I think it's basically the right video for the song.

The hands were Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil. You should go easier on yourselves. Jody, the last scene had a mask, you get that. First guy should get sanctuary, for the scene in the middle. Eman gets warehouse. Also, if you turn on the subtitles on the dance practice you can get better predictions. There was excellent symbolism, like with V, the cell phones lit up (social media) but the picture frames had no people in them. It’s lonely. Jimin was literally painted into a corner in the bathroom scene. I know people like to put the attention on meanings that are not romantic love, but that is always the double meaning. Of course these grown men write about love too. In this, Jungkook was watching everyone, and they could sense it, and looked. That is from the fictional story they have in their songs. I think this song is a masterpiece. If you listen to this in the context of an album, they come out of this positively in another song. ❤

It's part of the bu (bts universe) a continuous storyline which you would understand more if you would go into it, but apart from the bu it's still a good music video and black swan for this music vid is streching😅😅 it nothing in it relates to what they were singing in blackswan and even the colour scheme is opposites. Blackswan is them singing about what if they lost the attitude or even the very ability to resonate with the art they create so with the title black swan which means an unpredictable event and also correlates with the movie black swan that's why they were in a theatre wearing black and also white attire and why most of their moves were contemporary dances while fake love was them literally singing about love and puting on a mask or facade for that loved one it maybe a family menber, girlfriend or boyfriend, fiancee, husband or wife, friends or even yourself. Even if you don't know or aren't interested in the bu at least start with the album yes watching the music video straight is mybe more interesting all if you want to understand you have to start from the very beginning. Armys will know this but you can't fully understand I'm fine without save me, boy with love without boy in love, ON without NO etc same with the albums and even solo careers

I'm sorry guys, you are here trying to make sense of the MV when the MV and the song have little connection between, i mean, pretty much the whole video is connected to a webtoon /fictional story which go across multiple different MVs, on those MVs they tell the story from the webtoon, so we sometimes don't understand the images from the MVs. But there's a live presentation of this song and in there they use the puppet . I haven't dive into the webtoon yet, apparently is not longer available were previously was available, but by the little bit i know the focus of the story is Jin and him having kinda a repeat day were he goes back to try and make changes in their life so he can change and save the lives of all the members. Exempt: Suga's house burns down (and i think previously His mom/family died in a fire? Not to sure), JHope for some reason ended in the hospital, Jimin try to drown himself, Jung-kook throw himself from a building, Tae-hyung kilx his abusive father and RM ended up in prison for something , so Jin started to make little changes as like in the theory of the Butterfly effect he would be able to change their future, but at the end he realized that to be able to save everyone he needs the help of all the members .(exactly i don't know how but in one of the MVs JHope saved Jimin ) . Is a little complicated but good 😅 and I'm sure I got it completely wrong still, but I try my best 😅. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🤟🇲🇽

You need to start from the beginning, the 1st MV till the last or you will never understand BTS and ARMYs journey. It's intense, and complicated rich in history, literature, culture, art and more. BTS makes you look deeper, makes you think. You have to peel back the layers. Every MV has an explanation video for the things you missed and the meaning. There are also websites created by ARMYs to explain the depth. Those candy bars relating to J-Hope and the story behind it will make you cry, go find it! I highly recommend you start at the beginning, do some research, read your comments, we will guide you. Ask questions, it's an amazing ride, jump on!

It's so obvious you all are anime watchers. lol I was watching your eyes fly through the subtitles. The hands are "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". Also, you're right that Jimin is looking up at JK. Throughout the video, JK goes around and peers in on all of the members in their rooms and they all look back at him. The obvious one with Jin through the window in the opening scene, RM's he's in the mirror, J-Hope's it's through the keyhole, Jimin's it's through the ceiling vent, Suga's is through the fireplace and I believe for Taehyung he is at the end of the hall. You aren't going to be able to fully understand the imagery in the video because it is a part of a story that includes other videos. Edit: Saying the sand was Suga's ashes was the most disturbing and hilarious thing.

We all know you're calling Jin the weakest dancer. Which in a dancers' standard, he is. But even though he's the weakest dancer, he also keeps up with a dancing group like BTS n their live stages n performances are amazing. Imagine the hardwork he has to put, not to be out of sync. Plus we have to remember, BTS is a group that mainly focuses on creating music. They are musicians before anything

exactly. I think its okay to acknowledge that by dancers technique etc Jin is the weakest (of course respectfully) but its also a great way to compliment and acknowledge Jin's progress as well. Like you said, he wasn't a dancer, became a trainee quite late in comparison to others and progressed a lot. Not to mention like you said, he keeps up with the others and blends in. I don't think I have ever seen Jin make a mistake on stage when it comes to choreo, its clear he puts in the work.

@@laraibahmed3090 in fact no hate to the other members because they’re amazing dancers but I’ve seen the dance line make more mistakes than Jin I’ve only seen him slip once on the stage but other than that I haven’t seen him makes any choreography mistakes all of the videos that shows the members make mistakes on the stage I’ve never seen him included in them and that shows how hard he works on his dancing. All of them are amazing dancers at the end of the day I just don’t like how some people label Jin as the "weakest dancer" and brush him off. Also I’m sorry for this long comment and my bad English 😅

The idea with the dance practice and then trying to guess what the music video is gonna look like is nice and really entertaining but just a heads up it's not gonna work for every music video from Bts, just like this. I think you don't know about this yet but there's something that's called the BU or The Bangtan Universe. It's a fictional storyline that runs trough songs / music videos / notes / webtoon and even a mobile game. Some Music videos, just like fake love, are made for the storyline and are not just normal music videos. Mv's like Dynamite or Butter have nothing to do with the BU so they are made just for the song and easier to guess. If you gonna react to 'I Need U' or 'Run' you're gonna understand what I mean bcs that are the beginnings of the BU. But still a nice reaction and video and maybe if you want you can try to find out what the BU is, its gonna be difficult and you're not gonna understand a lot of things but it's still fun and the storyline is amazing and interesting and a big reason to follow bts😊 (sorry for any mistakes; English is not my first language)

Fake love is connected to RUN,SAVE ME,BLOOD SWEAT TEARS and others. So watch all these mvs to get some things. Also watch the SHORTFILMS to solve the big riddle that all the mvs are connected to. Bts dont just put things in their mvs to look good. Thats why we army always look for hidden things in their mvs. Their mvs have meaningful things, which you dont know yet cause you are baby army.
