They release notes explaining their situations with the albums. That was his sister and his father was an abusive alcoholic. It tells us things like how J Hope’s mother left him and he was adopted by Jimin’s family, how Suga’s mom died in a fire that’s why he sets fire to his room and etc. There’s a lot so you can check it out on your own time.

Great you had army there to help you out on this. I personally love this whole concept they came up with to do a story throughout these videos that is still going on to this day, hence why there was so much excitement when euphoria mv dropped as it was another part of the puzzle. This is where BTS really showed their artistry in my opinion, that as well as great songs and dances they were able to start this incredible puzzle story, that has kept army hooked for years. Tae's ability as an actor really shines in these videos

This song has alot of explanation and deeper meanings. The boys struggle,love and happiness. It was a meaningful songs that shows the struggle of one another . Theres alot of words to say. Regarding Taehyung's story. I fall into the conclusion of it is his sister. Other than the lyrics in stigma. The part where he was being interviewed by the cops and asked about his parents he replied he had none. Now why would he say that if the woman is his mother where he obviously care for. For the dad, its understood that he hates him so he would say that. So I assume that the mother is no longer with them which led him into saying that to the cops making the woman his (assumably older) sister Just my pov though

This is actually the dark reality which they were showing. V attacked his "father" who was hitting his mother. Suga trying to kill himself through fire. Jimin and the rest of the members are in the dark reality. You guys watched Euphoria and all other MVs tied in with it. Jin was the one who controlled the other members such as put Jungkook by Suga to save him. He then replaces V's father with J-Hope. He also jumps off where V jumped from before and he just replaced himself with V. Jin only forgot Jimin who was in a mental hospital. Jimin thought the other members were with him when they were actually not. This caused more problems which made a member die. At the end of Euphoria, Jin was smiling because he was in heaven and he knew that he had to sacrifice himself in order to keep the others safe. It is a really twisted story actually, but BigHit said on Twitter that Euphoria is just a Movie for the Love Yourself Series. Who knows. Great reaction guys.

I think the video is about a girl leaving the members for another guy but the guy is abusive. They are suicidal because of the breakup but they find out that he is abusive and kills him on accident. Then feels more suicidal from tge guilt. Suicide is a big problem in Korean so

If you want to know the whole (not yet, but at least what we have so far) story that is set up BY BTS (not theories), you should read their Notes. It's a Korean "WINGS" special book but ARMYs have translated all of it. Those Notes literally tell the whole story (I think they've already released another set of Notes... Pt.2 kinda) with writings like Diary. There are no time travel or parallel worlds involved - those are just fans creating their own things. It's just clever imagery, metaphors and a hella sad story of 7 friends. P.S.: it's not debatable. Again, in the book "Wings" they DID state that man who Tae killed is his abusive father and the woman is his older sister.

I watched Justt Ally's theories about most bts MV'S, so I really believe that Jin's character died. that's why he's always on his own, or in all really peaceful setting like in the room with flowers. When you watch the HYYH videos, for I Need You the lyrics has nothing to do with the videos, it’s just different depending on the series... I can’t wait till you guys finish the whole series... Tae (V) was killing his dad because he was abusing his sister. Namjoon (RM) is not going through depression but I think he represents the people who get addicted into drugs and cigarettes when they is start feeling isolation. All these videos all revolve around a central idea... (that’s up for you guys to determine 😉)

So the most agreed-on theory (supported by Big Hit's constant theme) is that this whole thing is a tale of growing up, and the kind of pain and struggle in transitioning from childhood to adulthood. What's happening to the characters may be symbolic & metaphorical, not reality. I personally like the theory that this is really a story of Jin as the main character, and all the others represent different battles he has to face in order to become an adult. So their different situations are symbolic of Jin's internal struggle.
