This song was really one of healing & comfort. It spoke about how the current pandemic affected them but Suga reassures us (the army) that despite all that has happened & all that is going on, "thankfully between me & you nothing's changed", insinuating that the mutual love & support BTS has for us & we have for them remains the same. V's part spoke a lot about how this pandemic seems like it has "no end in sight" & "is there a way out" which it has come to seem like for them & a lot of us. He even looks at the stadium where they last performed in 2019, signifying that they miss the army & performing so much. RM's part spoke about it "looking like it'll rain again" & how he/they're "soaked to the bone" which highlights that they're very much saddened & drained by all that's happened with this pandemic but when he expresses "still won't stop, running faster than the cloud of rain" it shows that nothing, even this pandemic, will stop them from persisting & doing what they love. Jin also highlighted that we should close our eyes & "run away to that future" implying that we should be hopeful of the future, which will reunite us (the army) with them again. That's why when he sings that line he's in their dorm, but when he closes his eyes & opens them, they're all in the stadium. Many also speculate that when they were in the vehicle & Jin looks back, he represents BTS (all 7 of them) looking at the army & making sure they're okay. The last scene, shows the guys all dressed up in their outfits ready to perform, but the stadium is empty & light-up globes usually associated with the army, are used to represent us. This mv was also directed by JK & written by RM, Suga & J-Hope!! ❤

JK decided that the MV would-be recorded in the house of the 7 singers and rappers, some elements that appear in the clip are from their own home. Jungkook revealed that he filmed the song’s music video. He said: "So I’ve shot the music video and I’ve had discussions with the director and stuff and did all the process. And I’ve learned how hard that is. It was really hard.” Also, the members were involved in the album’s “overall production: concept, composition, design, etc.” SO PROUD OF THEM!

I also kind of feel that Jin is focused on a lot looking sad especially when looking back at his members having fun in the car scene, I think this is because he’ll have to enlist soon again fitting with the life goes on theme. If you watched the guys watching the video when it came to the end part where the stadium was empty except for ARMY bombs they all went silent at that part...you could feel the sense of longing they all had to be back with ARMY. Chills! And I thought back to the final concert last year when JK cried so hard and Jimin ran to wipe his tears....it's like Jungkook knew this was coming and it would be a long time before they saw ARMY again. Im in love with this song and MV, the song is just so catchy and it kinda has the R&B feel to it. The MV is just so sweet and innocent looking, it is just the lads going on about their normal lives and just doing what they love, U also love just how laid back the MV is. This song is a song that we all needed to hear especially after the year we have had and still having, the message os so thoughtful and inspiring that no matter what happens ‘Life Goes On’ as normals as possible and you just have to keep being you also the song has also reminded me to ‘Just Remember’ that ‘Life Goes On’ and we just have to keep doing what we do and keep being happy, also the beat of the song has a calming effect that can help anyone to relax.
