BTS (방탄소년단) ‘MAP OF THE SOUL:7’ ALBUM REACTION + UNBOXING

This video was a rollercoaster of emotion! I waited to get my BTS box before reacting to the whole album which is why it’s out only now ^^ I know the video is very long and even though I cut out some parts of the video because I didn’t want it to be an hour long either I still wanted to keep the moments where I was in my feelings and explaining my thoughts etc. The album feels so much more personal and almost more “human” coming from them which is very nice because it’s sometimes easy to forget that they struggle too. I loved the lyrics in this album and the overall message. It personally spoke to me more then Love Yourself tbh, I really needed to hear those lyrics at the moment and that might be why I reacted so vividly in this video. I absolutely love “we are bulletproof : the eternal” and I believe it’s one of their best song. However, friends and 0 oclock hit me the hardest. It’s been a while since I’ve been so invested in a BTS album and so for me it’s one of their best in my opinion.

Everytime I listen to it I at least tear up, because you'll feel the emotions they convey of their years of being bts, and this time, they're not trying to impress the world, america, to persuade people to like them, but in this album, they write like their old times, to make armys feel special, that they are understood by bts themselves, and the fact that after bts blew up their popularity, they stopped making songs about falling in love with a girl, or love songs about crush, but after they became worldwide, they started making songs to comfort many people around the world, to cure many heart problems. BTS is still the 7 bois we stanned and loved. This album is a reminder that they never changed.*

"I'm tired of crying" Literally me every single time I've listened to the album xD First listen had me tearing up in class. I didn't need lyrics to feel comforted by their voices. That's how well they've transmited the message. The album brought me back memories and made it even more emotional. It's a blessing to have them opening up with this level of honesty, nostalgia and hope in their lyrics. En regardant la vidéo je n’ai pas pu m’empêcher de verser des larmes, chaque chansons et chaque paroles ont un sens incroyables. On passe d’une chanson qui parle d’amitié à une chanson sur les moments compliqués le tout parfaitement bien exprimé. Il n’y a pas une seule chanson sans histoire derrière, cet album est l’un de mes préférés voir mon préféré car l’énergie que renvoie l’album est tellement unique et pure. J’ai l’impression qu’ils ont mis tout leur cœur dans cet album pour le rendre magique(?) à sa façon. This album has become my favourite one from BTS. Love Yourself: Tear had been till Friday my top. But damn, how could this album not be everyone's favourite? It hits close to the heart. I had not read all the lyrics to the songs, so I have been crying together with you. When Shadow came out I was blown away, and I was expecting a huge comeback, but this just exceeded everything I had in mind. It is so much better than I could have ever imagined. Personally I think Friends and We are Bulletproof: The Eternal are the ones that really have made me fall in love. But wauw, now that I've read Zero O'clock's lyrics, thank you Bangtan for giving us these messages. When it comes to the solo's, even though I'm a hard core Maknae line bias, I have to give it to Jin. Moon is so beautiful. Which does not mean the other ones are not. ALL OF THESE TRACKS ARE STUNNING. But Moon, I don't know, it just feels right. I've already said it. But the feeling I got with these album is a bittersweet sensation. They are reconciling their past with their present and looking out for the future. Bringing hope and happiness, like a warm embrace. But I cannot get out of my mind that it also kinda feels like a goodbye? I decided that I wanted to listen to the past albums to get the whole package of Bangtan, and with 2 Cool 4 Skool, the beginning of the Intro coincides with the one from Outro: Ego, and then We are Bulletproof with the Eternal. It comes full circle. I've read an interview where they say that this album is a love song to themselves. And I love that definition. I am so thankful to these 7 boys, and I hope I can get to see them in July 💜

I was emotional but I didn’t shed a tear listening to the song. But everytime I relistened to We Are Bulletproof, I felt myself getting closer and closer to wanting to bawl 😭 I just watched the lyric video and then here I am. And for some reason, I’m bawling as I’m watching you react to We Are Bulletproof. Maybe because I finally processed the lyrics but the emotions I’ve been holding back as I relistened to this song over and over just finally broke through the dam and I’m just.... the struggles they’ve went through in the beginning of their career, the LITERAL sweat and tears they’ve shed to get to where they are? NO ONE has worked as hard as them. Us ARMY that they’ve saved is just a plus they never thought they’d gather 😭
