CKEAAL Lyricalyre Lol i watched without subs when it came out. I listen to Mic Drop so many times that when I was singing along, I immediately realised it sounded different the minute V sang the start of the chorus. I was like they changed the lyrics then I realised it was English in Jimin’s part. Well I guess I have no choice but to restart the video again. I was hoping the remix would maybe have more English and they did translate it so well.

Your quote "BTS is on another level"....is quite true....when compared to Western music. A more truer quote would be "Kpop is on another level" as there are a slew of great groups that are just as talented as BTS. What separates BTS from the rest of Kpop right now is their creative control over their music, which most Kpop groups do not have. That creative control has allowed them to add a more Western hip-hop feel/inspiration to their music that should appeal to Western fans, which it obviously has. I hope all the new people being exposed to BTS take a deeper look at all the incredible talent in the Kpop world. Kpop mixes musical styles and genres and has influences from music styles from the 1920's to current. It makes Western music seem tame and pale in comparison.
