Reacting to BTS music video Mic drop. I was challenged by someone in the comment section of one of my previous videos, so I'm trying to see if I can tell who has the "it" factor in this group. Guess we'll find out.

I don't think that's true. I think there's many groups that have the 'it factor', whatever that might be, across all members. It's very rare to be able to look at a group and consider them without some members and believe that they would still have exactly the same impact.

Jokes on you, they all share their twitter, instagram, etc. accounts. Lol. They gave you a trick question here, because it's really hard to nail down the one "it" person in BTS. It really switches depending on what they're doing. Each member brings a different talent and skill to the table, so they'll be the "it" person depending on if the song vibes more with their strengths. Also, they're solo work is beloved pretty much equally across the fandom, which I know is rare. I agree that in this one song, RM and Jungkook shine quite a bit...but if you switch it to Blood Sweat and Tears, Hobi and Jimin are going to steal the show, and it will continue to switch depending on what you're watching. It's such an interesting dynamic that I've honestly never seen in another group before, especially the United States. The members place themselves on an equal playing field and are content to let other members shines at different times. This leads to a very pro-group fandom. Anyways, thanks for the reaction and giving our boys a fair shot! If you decide to do more BTS, I'd be willing to watch and give you a like.

BTS are very versatile group. They are known for their chemistry, stage presencr and writing/producing own music. They dont have main member. They take turn who take center based on the song. As this is hip hop song, usually rapline shine the most due to their rapping skill. Vocal line shine the most for other more vocal centric song like fake love, dna, boy with luv, blood sweat n tears,etc. You gonna surprise to see how versatile they are. I also suggest you watch their live performance as well like at 2019 MMA full performance. They are also known for being such a great performers. All this combine making them most successful kpop group ever all time. Korea love them so much and call them as korea pride.

Good reaction! Just food for thought...sorry if this is a little long... I haven't been a BTS fan for very long, but I've come to realize that a majority of the time (not always), Western music (and I can say this because I am one) tend focus on competition -- which member is better looking, who's the "it" person in the group, who's the most popular member, etc. -- and I really think this is why music groups here in the west don't seem to stay together. In contrast, BigHit (BTS' company) focused on the whole group and what skillsets each member offers, and they never pin one member over another. These men have trained, practiced, and lived with each other for the last 10 years that they pretty much consider each other family. They don't have individual social media accounts -- they have a shared twitter account that they primarily use along with their Weverse account, and their Insta, FB, and TikTok accounts are updated by their company. You'll see that there is a rap line (J-Hope, Suga, and RM) and a vocal line (Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jin), as well as a dance line (Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin, and J-Hope). However, they write, compose, and produce their own songs, and each member contributes in the songwriting process. BigHit also encourages all the members' individual creativity - each Rap line member has released their own mixtape, while each vocalist has released covers and original songs on their Soundcloud. Naturally, fans have their "bias" (favorite), but others have said, it's very hard to determine who the "it" person is because every comeback there is a different member who really shines -- especially since BTS has a WIDE discography of styles that can suit anybody's musical tastes. I guess you can say that I was a little "triggered" by what you were saying about the "it" person in the group -- I firmly believe that BTS is OT7 or nothing, and they enhance each other's talent because they all have mutual respect for each other and their skills that they bring to the group. I would react to "Who is BTS? The Seven Members of Bangtan" for an intro to the group. Afterwards you can react to gaduarsan's 8-part series "Introduction to BTS: Beyond the Scene" for a more in-depth look at each member.

Just to let you know BTS is the biggest idol group in the world right now and all the songs have meaning and a message. They also gave a speech at United Nation in partnership with Unicef to help fight to end child and teen violence in the world, they also won Top Social Artist at BBMA's 2 yrs in the row and performed in sold out stadiums in the US such as the Rose Bowl. hi there, i paused to type this comment before your reaction to the mv. you're actually not wrong - it's very true that sometimes there are certain people who have a certain quality about them that make them shiine and stand out; it's what auditions and talent scouting shows are for, essentially, to look for the people with those "it" factors as you said. and like you mentioned, JT did stand out in NSYNC. so i totally respect your opinion. i'd love for you to get to know bts because they are a very wonderful and special group where for once, all members shine, and together they are a complete force to be reckoned with. of course, every bts fan / army will have their own "biases"; which we can't help, we are all humans with individual tastes and preferences, and lean towards certain members more, but at the end it is almost universally acknowledged they really are all bright stars. anyway, enjoy their music :)

I'm a blink and an Army and I'm glad you found BTS. Noone can deny that they are really big now. There are 7 members in the group. Starting from oldest to youngest, here are the names of the members (some are stage names), Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The black hair dude is Jungkook or a lot of people call him kookie. He is the main vocalist and the youngest of the group. The blond hair dude is RM or his real name is Kim Numjoon. RM is the leader of the group and can speak English fluently. They don't have Instagram accounts but they use Twitter and Weverse to communicate with their fans. I'd recommend you to check out their song "Idol" (Feat. Nicki Minaj).

Jin is a Vocalist. Suga is a Rapper, Producer. JHope is Lead Dancer, Rapper, Producer. JiMin is Dancer, Vocalist. V is Vocalist, Dancer. JungKook is Lead Vocalist, Dancer. I’m a Blink but BTS sits alone on the mountain top as Top group not just in Kpop. BlackPink doesn’t have enough music to compete. BUT BlackPink’s popularity is still on a meteoric rise so they’re not too far behind. I say this because Blinks and Army (BTS fandom) bicker way too much. Consider it a Yankee/ Red Sox type of rivalry
