Its like the first time they see make up on singers. I guess they dont know my chemical romance's gerard way with his smokey eyeshadows, theres also prince (i cant even begin with him there alot not just make up) and literally michael jackson wears full on make up. Isen yes. Kpop artist stylist know how to proper make good use of make up. Making sure its not too over exaggerated not too blush just a slight contour and highlight. Eyeshadows not too often. But more on the lips since tinted lips are a trend in korea. Making an no make up make up look. As natural as possible bit still looks good. I think only jimin, suga and rapmon gets eye make up bc of their monolids. Tae sometimes depends. Lol they feel threatened.

yep many western artists dont necessarily wear makeup when they are performing on their shows, but to mv shoots, cover shoots, award shows etc. all the main stream artists have some sort of makeup on. not so much eyeshadow like in kpop but makeup anyway. looks bomb so i guess its just about men being insecure about it since they still see it as feminine

I don't think these guys really check the comments. Coz the first time they reacted to BTS, one of them said that they want something chill coz apparently Mic Drop is a bit too much for him. And so people started commenting other BTS songs that they might like, but then they reacted next to Not Today. Just wow. (Mic Mic Bungee!) 😂 Don't say we didn't help you guys. 😂😂😂 But if you ever see this comment. I would like to let you know AGAIN that most of BTS music videos have English Subs on them. So TURN ON your CC, so that you will not be totally clueless about what's going on. I mean I didn't like them just because their song is catchy. I started being sucked into their fandom because the lyrics of their song pierces right through the heart. Just like the following songs (and again it's for the guy who said he wants something chill) -EPILOGUE: Young Forever -Spring Day -Save Me -Run -I Need You -DNA -Born Singer (Does not have a Music Video only a live performance, choose the one from Suga Nevermind, it has English subs on them - AND THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!)

I think Spring Day by bts would be a great change of pace. Its a slower song and it has a beautiful story behind. It was written after a disaster where many children lost there lives.

The message in the song is that they know that in the future they will, at one point, lose but it is "not today," hence, "today we fight." It's similar to their song "young forever" where they tell the haunting feeling of knowing that the attention they're getting right now won't last forever but still, they want to keep their "dream, hope" marching forward despite everything. Back to "Not Today", they also empower the "underdogs" of society to "break the glass" that traps them. That they may be called "extras" but they could be "extraordinary." In short, it's more than a hype song.

I suggest y'all check out spring day, save me, run, I need u, blood sweat and tears, and dna. You should turn on the subtitles for their videos bc the vibe of this song is completely different from mic drop lyric-wise and the video is way deeper than you would think. This song is inspirational whereas mic drop is more of a diss track. Also, a lot of their videos are connected and form a bigger storyline.

The one thing that is consistent about BTS is the quality of the music videos, in the song Run, even if the budget was very low, they would have staff's cars in videos being graffiti'd etc, but that wouldnt come at a cost of the quality of the video, the videos are always top notch. it came up again, so i guess i'll leave my informational type of comment on this topic - s.korea has one of the biggest markets for beauty products, and that reaches and impacts pretty much every other area of their lives. they don't think much of seeing eyeliner on guys, there are proper male oriented products and such out there. it's normalized, and not just in s.korea but in most asian industries as well. they don't think someone loses masculinity points over it, why would they? they see it as wanting to look good and taking care of your appearance. so that's why it's normal for all kpop artists to wear makeup. it's part of their industry, it's a norm. tbh it's not out of norm for western artists as well to wear makeup, just because someone can't tell clearly it doesn't mean an artist isn't wearing makeup, there are very natural looks out there and trust me a whole lot of male artists were sporting a natural makeup even when you'd have not guessed it. it's 2018 and we are getting smarter about gendered things anyway, them wearing makeup influences the quality of their music, performance and message to a total percent of ZERO. it has nothing to do with it. and honestly? girls throw panties at literally any guy who can rock the eyeliner or a smokey eyeshadow. those are facts. not like you guys dissed them for it though. i wasn't aiming my comment as a drag, really just as an info on how asian industries take to this topic. your reactions are nice and enjoyable, i like how you guys appreciate all the visuals and work they put into their mvs and all.

Like everyone probably commented, I would suggest you watch Blood, Sweat and Tears music video, it’s basically art. Then check out the music video and live performance of Spring Day. It’s a beautiful ballad. Turn on the English captions so you will understand the song. BTS likes to build mythologies with their music.

More chill BTS songs with mv's spring day- more emotional, based off of a tragedy Save me- would probably recommend this one the most, they do this in one shot I need U- do the 19+ version, you'll really see another side of BTS, like, it's deep, it'll have you shook I doubt you'll react to these because they don't have mv's but I love these songs (they're also chill) love is not over hold me tight Autumn leaves Butterfly-Really beautiful song, you can look up their live stage with choreography and react to it if you want.
