@@aniscene2755 Singing live and prerecording a performance are two different things. But one doesn’t prevent the other. They can SING LIVE during a pre-recorded performance. The prerecord will be then shown to the audience on a screen. I believe you’re mistaking the performance being live and direct in front the audience, and the vocals being live.

It's live singing lol...BTS *NEVER* lipsync, like never..ofc there are back-up vocals in the background coz the boys have to dance and sing at the same time so they can get out-of-breath very quickly and all the idols while performing live have back-up vocals btw...sometimes BTS don't have back-up vocals and this you'll see in their concerts coz they improvise their tracks(songs) there...having back-up vocals and lip-syncing are two completely different things.. Suga has proved many times that BTS don't and never lipsync...BTS have back-up vocals only when the choreo is really intense like IDOL, Blood-Sweat&Tears, ON etc. It was such a stupid comment that y'all made🤦🏻‍♀️ be ready for a really long comment section with angry ARMYs telling u why our boys NEVER lip-sync

It's called lip sync if the person is moving their lips trying to convince they are singing but BTS doesn't even try to convince anyone they are singing the part so actually (to the person saying they were on Dionysus) they weren't trying to convince anyone they were singing certain parts they have said it before if anything if u saw the clip yet or not suga didn't even rap half his bar yet he rapped for half of it and let it sync into the crowd people say it was him being savage cuz too many rumors say they lip sync when it's called lip sync people hear the backing track but there were numerous times BTS messed up on something that was noticable like last time Jungkook singed run to fast and laughed about it we actually heard his laugh through the mic if they were lip syncing why would u be able to hear it right? They are singing , it's not lipsync , it's a competition , they have to sing , they trained for years to sing and dance simultaneously and use their vocals without stretching the mouths , they must still look appealing while singing , years of 12 hour a day 6 days a week training ..

Thing is BTS too often get accused of lip syncing when they're singing live, which is why you find for the last few years they purposefully in basically every single performance either alter some arrangements or usually just members will not sing part of the song to blatantly show that they're live - it's usually Suga purposefully skipping some words in his rap or Jin or V not sing certain parts because they must be sick of being accused of lip syncing lol

I'm sorry, I usually enjoy your reactons...BUT when you open it saying you can tell their lip syncing because they are using the head mic's is sooooo misleading...and wrong!! The in-ear monitor is so they can hear one another and the backing track...not so they can freaking lip sync!! 🙄 Those monitors protect their ears from damge, and considering they use them A LOT you are insinuating they lip sync almost every performance!!! 🤬 If you truly listened to this performance you can clearly hear they aren't. And the singing over them and truly not watching it kind of ruins the atmosphere...its your channel, but it would be nice to get a honest reaction to ALL OF THEM and not just paying attention to one or two members....plus this is considered the song from the album that truly changed EVERYTHING for BTS....I just don't get how this could even be a reaction when only 2 people are actually watching it....

You are so RIGHT because there 2 reactions that I saw which is this one anda when they were reacting to “black and white” that jungkook and jimin dance too, let me tell you i got so pissed off because one of them said “oh i expect more” and he said something else I don’t remember, but I commented and said “ he really said that he expect more, bro this is something to spread positivity and have fun NOT TO DO A GRAMMY PERFORMANCE. @@jungkookie9388 Right. And it's not that they're not allowed to have opinions or to make false assumptions. It's that most of the time, these assumptions are a product of how close-minded they are. Several ARMYs (including me) commented this in another video too, where we asked them to check out lyrics and do research beforehand if they (specifically the two) plan to educate the others, so at least what they're saying is right. I believe that was on the 21st Century Girls video where they failed to get the meaning and made comments based on face value (which is not wrong, but terribly unprofessional for a channel that not only reacts but also commentates and makes paid Patreon videos). I'm not subscribed. However, I still watch their BTS reactions because I still hope that they eventually learn to not only appreciate all seven members and not limit them to "Oh yeah he's not a dancer", but also understand the depth that BTS has in their songs. I remember also asking where they get their recommendations from, because a lot of ARMYs believe it would be better if they either worked their way down or up in terms of music videos and songs. Instead, they seem to be doing random videos with little to no context. Also, regarding favorites and expectations for performances, that's understandable. Everyone can have favorites and it's okay to say that you expected more. However, it speaks volumes when after so many reactions, they still can't name all the members right when they come up on screen, only point out a few, and have so much to say about the members' skills despite not having said skills themselves. I went back to the 21st Century Girls reaction and was disappointed to learn that the comments telling them to do better were deleted. I expect this thread will be too soon. I hope they don't though and that they consider listening to the advice. ARMYs usually aren't this critical when people react to BTS, but most channels also don't speak on topics they have no clue or are wrong about. @Redemption 46, you have a massive community of ARMYs who watch your reactions and who would be willing to participate in things like community posts to give you information before you do your reactions. The ear piece means they aren’t singing live???🤣 😂😂😅that’s NOT how it works. The ear pieces are for them to hear the mix in ear so they don’t get distracted or thrown off by the acoustics of the venue and crowd noises. Not every artist wearing an ear piece is singing live but having them in has absolutely nothing to do with whether they are or not. They do have a backing track with the backing vocals in but 😅 yeah…. If you watch professional producers and vocal coaches, they point out how to actually tell if it is live singing over the track or not. The breathing and diction have more to do with it than wether they are wearing ear pieces. Sigh. They were wearing ear pieces in concert and it was extremely clear what was their live voices or not, and they were singing live through the whole 3 hour concert except when they were in between songs or talking. Sang the whole thing. Do appreciate ya’ll…. But that, yeah, naw…..

Music shows and award shows always end up at some point having their set list leaked, which tells which artists are 100% live, which ones rely on heavy backtrack most of the song and which ones are complete lip sync BTS has ALWAYS been 100% live vocals. They do include a backtrack, as does everyone and sometimes, like this instance…it’s turned up quite loud. But those ARE live vocals, the mic means nothing…except the song they are performing requires heavy choreo and they can’t hold a mic.

I think a lot of people (fans included) forget that music shows are a few different recordings spliced together. So yes, they're singing live but sometimes the video that you're seeing isn't the video that matches the live vocals that the music show decided to use. They basically pick whichever of each they think works best. When it's obvious that they're singing live on a music show, it's because the music show thought that the vocals and the video were both the best options on that particular recording.

Basically, if they record the performance 5 times, sometimes the music show will say they looked best on recording 5 but sounded the best on recording 2..and use those two together for the final product. I've watched a few BTS music show performances where it's obvious to me that the vocals are live but their mouths aren't matching up in the video so it's not surprising to me when people are like "oh this isnt live!" because there's a lot of technicalities involved.

Yeah there’s a difference between lip syncing and using a backtrack. You can actually tell by closely watching and listening. There’s a running joke that lip synching is the only thing BTS isn’t good at lol. They’re always going to use it more than usual for the songs that have heavier choreo as well, but they always have live vocals.

Like go look at twice , black pink, Nct, exo first comeback stages and you will see the same. It’s like top of the pops . I love that you guys maintained an open mind and continued on reacting to BTS. I'll admit that I sensed a bunch of negativity from everyone except 2 of you in the beginning. And while I completely understand that BTS isn't for everyone, we don't have to continue watching reactors who don't like them. So I'm really glad to come back and see that you've dug deeper and that everyone else is coming around to what ARMYs see and know now. I, personally, became a fan when Boy With Luv was released. Yes they really do give it their all in every single performance....especially the live ones. The members have said how they understand that for people seeing them live, it may be their one and only chance to ever see them in person, and that makes them want to put on an even more spectacular show every. single. time. For their non-live productions, it's been shown time and time again and confirmed by people that have had the chance to work with them (choreographers, directors, producers, back-up dancers, etc.) that BTS are perfectionists. They will shoot and shoot and shoot again until they are completely satisfied with it. Even if just one of them feels it's subpar, they will do it all over again. You have to respect and admire that about them...amongst so many other amazing attrributes that they have.

Lipsync isn't that big a deal, especially in comeback stages where a ton of artists do it. BTS do it now and again and it's understandable. Still, pretty sure listening by ear this is mostly live with a loud backing track. Think the rapping parts especially clued me on to it. No expert myself though .

actually they are singing live. they have prerecorded vocals for the backtrack because singing and dancing at the same time can cause you to get out of breath very quickly. in fact, if you listen closely you can tell if they’re singing live or not because you’ll usually hear their breath in the mic if they are.

Y'all gotta watch the videos from ex-idols or employees from those stations who explain how these shows work. All idols *require* to sing live, whether they want to or not. The audience there will always hear idols singing. Now, how they broadcast it is indeed a little different. Depending on the group and its influence, and also the singing abilities of idols (as per producer's of the show opinion), they will let only a certain amount of live vocals to broadcast. There still ALWAYS have to be at least 10-15% of live vocals through, even if the idol is a bad singer. As was said before, the producer would decide during rehearsals how much each individual will have as live vocals heard for broadcast. They still always sing live, but the actual studio track (or backtrack, whatever you wanna call it) can overtake the sound if the percentage for live vocals was low. With BTS, you can still hear the track too, but you can also hear their live vocals through well (especially if you're an ARMY long enough and can differentiate their live singing from studio track), as their percentage usually high. Between 60-80%, depending on which member. One specific ex-idol turned KZbinr (and industry insider) specifically said that she actually promoted with BTS once and was impressed with their live singing. She said they definitely always sing live, and pretty much all of it can be heard during broadcast. She praised Mamamoo and BTS as the best live performers she's heard. P.S.: after so many videos, I genuinely don't understand how do you not hear/differentiate their live voices. You either never pay attention, or have bad hearing 😐

I assure you it is obvious if they lip-sync cause they suck at it. For music shows it may seem like they are cause the backing track is always loud for those performances for perfection.

Thanks, great, it's that they are from another world in everything, and they touch our hearts every time they perform some of their songs so much so that we can see them 100 times and we continue to feel the same emotion, I don't know what to call what they do to us feel the great talent and the energies that these guys transmit to us, I end up so excited that I want to continue watching videos and at night I go to bed happily as if something so beautiful brightened my life, I don't know if I absorbed their energies like bampira that leave me so satisfied and happy in spirit, I was a very sad person before I met them, now I wake up happy and go to bed happy when I see them, so I know of many people who have changed their lives thanks to them and their songs, that's why they are out of this world.

I think you guys should definitely watch MMA/ MAMA live cuz they got ear-pieces but you can definitely hear them singing/rapping live. BTS's cue sheets always, always indicate LIVE SINGING, regardless if they are using handheld mics or headset mics. Even for Mcountdown or Music core etc, they still sing live. Any army who was there would tell you it's live. I happened to attend a few of these shows and you can hear them singing live very clearly. HOwever, these shows are all prerecorded, they sometimes go all the way to 3/4 am. To ensure the quality of these performances, the broadcasting stations will then adjust the live singing down, drowned by the backing track. Hope you guys get a better picture than generalizing everything and passing on some wrong info. Thanks! and always great to watch you guys.

People know what they like is not true. People only know what they don’t like from a an existing database in their minds. Exposure provides a broader reference so one can say what they don’t like. It’s ignorant to say I don’t like…..if you have never listened or eaten such and such, how can you trash it? Jerrik likes something, beautiful. I like early BTS too. I wish they appreciated how well they did back then. They simply followed instructions and did what they were told. They were not comfortable in those clothes or the personas the company gave them.
