Korean age 20 is American(Western) age 18 yrs old. When this BV was filmed in 2016, Jungkook was still 17. He turned 18 during this trip, so you will see the members giving a little party for JK for turning into an adult age. Thanks for the reaction 👍💜

Don’t know if anyone ever explained this here, but korean age tends to be 1/2 years in advance to how we “count” age, since they start from the womb. JK was 18 about to turn 19 in season 1 for us, but had just turned 20 in korean age. That’s why there’s confusion haha. Also sad we won’t be able to watch this here anymore but oh well.

Thank you for this!!! I would love to go through their journeys together with you but sadly I don't have a Patreon but have fun watching the series!!! The First Bon Voyage was actually to all 3 countries and the others are to other places. Also , to avoid any complications with copyright , covering the Vlive+ sign is the best!!! Also , in Korea , they have a different age system where once you are born you are already 1 year old because they count the months spent in the mom's belly and then whenever the year changes they immediately go up a year regardless of their birthday date so in Korea , you are considered 1 or 2 years older than internationally depending on whether the year has passed or not. Oh,their age in korea is advance by one year....when they born it is considered as one year old already,i guess....on international age,jungkook has just turned 19 during that time

As a norwegian, I can kinda relate. Norway has become more recognized after Ylvis (''What does the fox say'') and ''Skam'' but I still find it surreal. To see BTS shopping at our local grocery stores, experiencing our constitution day, reading norwegian on the signs around them, etc. is so weird.

About Namjoon saying he'd like to travel with "a friend": As far as I know, in Korea, only people born in the same year as you can be called your friends. Because otherwise, you're either the older one and take on the role of a caretaker (hyung/unnie/noona/oppa), or you're the dongsaeng and get taken care of. Of course it isn't that strictly handled in reality, but that's the concept behind it. You only call people that are "on your level" your friend.

first of all, it’s $5.. $10 is only for the full versions. also, nobody is forcing you to watch? it’s a patreon exclusive show because patreon is my full time job, i spend all day/every day preparing videos. it takes a lot of TIME. i also post 3-4 times a week on youtube so PLENTY of my content goes up completely for free, purely because it’s fun. patreon exclusive series are just extras for those people who want it and would also like to support me because of all the time i dedicate to videos on a daily basis. that’s why it’s a choice lol, so please don’t try to tell me what my content is worth, thank you
