I think that rather than changing their voices, they learnt to control them and worked a lot on their range so now they're more comfortable singing higher. 13:56 I don’t think they’re all fluent but they all can speak it relatively well, when it comes to concerts in Japan I think Hobi seems most confident speaking Japanese in between songs and in some behind the scenes videos there are some clips of them still practicing and some of them have said that they are not as confident in it. It’s also required for most kpop trainees to learn Japanese as it is their biggest market for music

This song hold a very special place in my heart, it was back in 2014 (wen this song was released) that I became an army back then I was in a very dark place feeling depressed all the time but wen I was looking thru the music channels this song came on kerrang and from that moment I knew I'd be in this bangtan rabbit hole for life, also it was this MV wen I first saw my ult bias jimin and I just fell in love with his vocals since then also his high note always send shivers down my spine, so u could say I owe these guys, and this song especially, my life. also at the start they shout "oppa ya" (which I always thought was fire to start with lol). Also this was the first choreo I learnt that I can actually do and also you see jin pushing the girl into the locker well in the behind the scenes he kept apologising to her as he thought he hurt her

Rm is the one we know that he is fluent in Japanese.. I don't know for the others. But I think they learn the lyrics🤗 V has a deep voice even RM. RM has to up his pitch so we can hear what he is saying. They said it a Vlive I think. So the deepest is RM but V has a deep voice. They perform their Japanese versions when they go to Japan. This MAMA performance was actually in the red carpet with no real audience but journalists and photographers because MAMA didn't let them perform at the actual award show, and in 2013 they weren't even invited even tho they were nominated. BTS really struggled a lot and to see that they are now the kings of MAMA and they are the main character Eveywhere they go.They've come a long way it's really motivational.

This was awesome, I love it when you look at a song from so many different angles - and your genuine enjoyment is so cool. I love Boy In Love, and Tae really does shine, his voice is incredible- and Jimin’s background ad libs towards the end - wow! BTS took some flack for this song when they released it, which I don’t really understand - I am a girl and it does not offend me, and it certainly doesn’t degrade me - it’s just a fun song about how confusing having a crush and falling in love are when you are a teen…🤷‍♂️😂 As to their fluency in Japanese, it depends on how you define “fluency”. For me, living in SA which has 11 official languages, fluency means you speak it almost like a native speaker - your accent and pronunciation are good and your vocabulary and grammar will get you through almost any situation. So although they all speak Japanese, if we use that definition of fluency, none of them is truly fluent, although Namjoon and Hobie are really good and could be fluent with just a bit more immersion, Jimin and Tae are also really good, and Jin, Jungkook, and Yoongi can get by with very little help. This is just what I observed, and I dug around for other opinions from people who are fluent in Japanese and this seems to be the consensus. 💜💜

Rm, J-Hope, and Jimin can speak fluent Japanese. The others learn as it is needed. But they are all at least bi-lingual with Korean + 1other language if not more. **Rm knows Korean, English, and Japanese. He also knows some Spanish and Chinese. **Jimin speaks Korean, Japanese, Chinese and some English **J-Hope speaks Korean, Japanese and English The others speak Korean and is taking English classes/studies.

Omg, this was my first song I heard from them conciously🥹. Before that I already listened to kpop, a lot of oldies from big bang, shinee and girls generation. And I think I came across a cople songs from the school trilogy but like other groups I never paid to much attention to who it was, until a friend inflenced my whole first friend group ever, to see who they were. Joon and Tae is the fluents one in Japanese. Others learnt. I think Japanese is a language they learn as a subject in their schools as the second language I'm not sure but I think that's why that others even can speak little bit better. And Jin is fluent in Chinneese well Jhope too... And Taehyung also can a bit. As I remember boy in luv has a Chinneese version too. Taehyung can speak so many languages besides English 😂 No he can but he didn't give much attention to learn it well like other things ♥️

The growling at the beginning of Boy in Love was V. He has a baritone voice but they were all expected to growl in those days. Poor Jin and Jimin’s voices were put to the test. Jin has a great range but pretending to be badass is a whole other thing. Fortunately they changed direction and Jin and Jimin could explore their true voices. The bit where JK asks how dad asked mum out is funny because in real life his mum asked his dad out. They changed their attitude on women in videos after RM was called a misogynist - he was very upset, but they were expressing their hormones. I can't wait till you get to WAR OF HARMONES now this one watch V with all his crazy antics. It's classic and I love it. Our V is the rough voice at the top. (No RM screens lyrics to women professors for critique before producing) They matured to Boy With Luv as they grew up emotionally. They do everything with so much passion. When I watch other kpop groups even in their own company this kind of passion and facial expressions is not there. They use their entire body for this art. Other kpop groups think V is a visual god because of all his faces. Although I know who each one in the beginning I recognized their voices.

If you go back to the Suga and spice "who is BTS" video, during Jin's intro there's a part where you see them on stage and he's playing guitar, THAT was boy in luv rearranged into a ballad!! Beautiful and really cool because they got in a bit of hot water for how they treat the girl in the original song 😊 Boy with Luv is a reply to Boy in Luv 💜

I love them so much especially before when theyre wasnt that big. Every videos and performamce you can really feel how passionate and eager they are. Its like they have this thirst to be recognize. Now all their hardship pay off. I really love how they sound and music before. But i still love them now though. They still look like a baby here. If im not mistaken jungkook is 15 yrs old in this music video.
