Guys, you need to know that everytime K-Pop groups or idols debut or make a comeback, they'll promote their new song at the daily music shows in South Korea. They'll promote for a certain period of time, for example 1 week, 2 weeks and even more than a month. The one that you guys watched is one of the daily music shows there. This is a very essential information for all K-Pop fans. In BTS case, they surely doesn't need Halsey everyday when they are promoting the song at the music shows right? Haha. And at the end of the year, there'll be a lot of annual music award shows where all the top notch groups will perform.

Fan chants are a big thing for K-pop groups. Makes it so there are "proper moments" for fans to join in to enhance the song, as well as making it feel like a more interactive experience. The companies, or even fandoms, create lyrics that fans memorize prior to concerts. In the case of BTS, Bighit makes fanchants, the most common one is the one where they chant the boys' names, starting with RM, and going from oldest to youngest, so ending with JK.

In Kpop an idol doesn't just "Hey I can sing, why don't we record this and maybe it will be played n the radio" or something because they have to train in an entertainment company, usually will took YEARS, and practice to have a good ability to dance and sing well at the same time. What sets Kpop apart is the dance, to be honest. It's not just simple movements but it is a well structured choreography for the WHOLE song. Imagine jumping around and panting a lot but you still have to hit those notes and make it sound good while you catch up with your breath. And I really appreciate you for trying to learn their names. It is actually hard (I've been there) but a really really really good tip is to watch some crack videos, try not to laugh challenges and the BTS RUN (their variety series), BTS Bon Voyage (their annual vacation) etc etc. It helps that there are so many clips from different timelines so once the face is familiar, hair colors won't be a problem. Trust me it gets easier.

Jungkook main vocalist , dance line , sub rapper , and center of performances ... he’s the youngest and needless to say he’s a master of it all. He’s the KING of ad libs and harmonies and I think people think that “main vocalist” means he just has the most parts which is not correct at all. You guys should watch “main vocalist jungkook” by Ida S... she breaks down and shows clips and interviews with all the different things that he’s responsible for and guarantee that you’ll see things you had no clue he does for almost every song. Jungkooks voice is easiest to distinguish because he has the most powerful and stable voice that sounds clear and you can’t even tell he’s jumping around bc he has that much control. You def should figure out who he is and what he does if you’re gonna compliment him... give credit where credit is so dudes... messed up not to. He’s wearing all black ✌️also RM definitely holds back in many instances... not on stage... but then again none of them hold back... that’s the point.

Agust D will blow your mind. 🤯 When he says "A to the G to the U to the STD. He is just spelling out Agust D (nothing about an STD.) Agust D is actually Suga spelled backwards followed by Daegu Town where he is from. You'll hear him say he's a D boy. This is a diss track to the underground rappers and others who said he sold out becoming an Idol and isn't a true rapper. You'll LOVE IT! The Cypher series Cypher 1, 2, 3 & 4 are also diss tracks. All by the rap line to their haters. Especially the underground rapper B Free (spelling?) who called them girls for having makeup on stage and being sell outside. DDAENG is also a diss to their haters. You have to watch DDAENG explained by DKDKTV. The word play is phenomenal! 💜🤟

By the way for boy with luv 90% of the time they only perform it by themselves coz quite obviously Halsey (being an American artist) can’t be there for them all the time. That’s why she barely had lines in the Official MV version, but the studio version of the album where she has more lines is in the ARMY with luv MV version (by the way do u guys know boy with luv has 2 MVs? TBH but I think If you watch bts live performances specially bts concert.... A little tip, if you look at the left side of the screen almost all live performances have the lyrics, and what's above it in the [ ] is the name of the member thats singing that part, and will most likely be on screen. Jungkook jin and jimin are always written in korean since those are their real names, but RM V Suga and J-hope arent in korean, so maybe you can use that to get to learn some of their names a little faster as well. But just like everyone else, i recommend getting to know them through interviews or behind the scene stuff, since its way easier to match their faces to their personalities
