If I'm not mistaken, Butterfly is choreographed by Brian Puspos, who also choreographed Jimin's Serendipity. His style is totally unique to him.

You know, I really don't know how people can doubt RM 's and Jin's dancing skills.. I mean, dancing like this at early on in their career, their hard work and consistent commitment to give their best during their practices and performances, I would have never guessed they are any less than capable dancers. They are absolutely skillful! I'm in awe cos Danger choreography is no joke!

It's actually so crazy that on my first ever watch of Butterfly, I instantly knew who the choreographer must've been. Before K-pop, I used to be OBSESSED with watching dance shows/videos/choreography and LOVED a dancer by the name of Brian Puspos. Those quick start/stops, holds/releases, fast/slows, that little guitar strumming you caught onto, all those little intricacies are SO his style of dance. It was like my worlds colliding when I first got into BTS seeing them dance. 💜 Butterfly choreo for me is *nostalgic* !

Butterfly choreo is just so beautiful and I love how at the end they create wings of a butterfly with their bodies, Danger choreo is so intense and so different to butterfly and am I wrong Nd it gets my heart thumping lastly Am I wrong choreo looks just fun to do and I love it so much. All in all all 3 choreos are so different yet I love how the members express themselves and use their bodies in each choreo

ugh butterfly is so beautiful!! brian puspos was the choreographer for this and he absolutely killed it!! he also choreographed serendipity and they mentioned him before in their 2015 festa! i’m a big fan of the dance community so it’s exciting to see such talented dancers choreo for my fav group!! if you want to hear brian talk about it there’s a video on steezy’s youtube channel where him and a fellow dancer watch and review some of jimin’s dances! the channels done it with hobi too and just analyzing their dance.

At first the choreo for Butterfly was only for Jimin, because he performed it solo during a show. But it was so well received they turned it into a whole choreo for the group so they could perform it on a music show as a pre song before the main one.

You know what?! I just realized (oh, I am so stupid...) that their choreography is dancing to the SYLLABLES in Korean. Sometimes they are even dancing to the CONSONANTS! Before, I just thought their dancing beat is irregular and faster than others....Oh. My. God.

Butterfly was the first song that I fall in love with BTS back in 2015. The song was so beautiful... Seeing them back then until now is so amazing & proud of them. Luv BTS so much...💖💖

I'm pretty sure the name tags are for the positions, so that they later can watch it again (when they need to look up a move or they just want to make sure where that person is standing etc.) It's just quicker and more organized. In the "mic drop mama practice" for example they also had name tags on. It's alot going on in that performance so it just makes sense to have em. (btw i love the angle in which the danger practice was shot at. They just look so tall and it feels like you're right there.) And they also send these videos to staff, for music shows and cameramen.

Like @@isabnf said, I think it's for music shows, Hobi mentioned it on weverse too, they probably recorded these and sent it to the staff so it's like they're showing us something that wasn't originally for fans, the 'tomorrow' practice record for example was recorded before their 2017 showcase performance not when the song was released

Butterfly is the song that started it all for me, so it has a special place in my heart. I’ve seen it performed on stages many times but watching this dance practice for the first time just gives me the chills and tears. Beautiful!

They are all amazing dancers. I honestly think Suga, Jin, and RM have been amazing dancers since the beginning and just improved more throughout their career. All these choreos are so amazing!! “Am I Wrong” was one of the funest choreos Ive learned. Everytime I watch these practice videos I can’t get over how Jimin moves the way he does. He’s unbelievable, one of a kind, spectacular!! These choreos really show his versatility. You can tell he’s learned and mastered so many different dance styles. Jimin’s a perfect combination of technique, expression, interpretation, intensity, like he’s just the full package. Anyone can see that Jimin is the most recognised dancer/performer greatly loved for his spectacular dancing skills, his versatility, and stage presence since debut. So many idols admire him and choose him as their role model, and want to dance/perform like him. Till this day so many new idols come out to say Jimin’s their role model especially when it comes to dancing/performing. Many celebrities and dancers/choreographers(even the ones that worked w BTS) have said “when it comes to dancing it's definitely jimin" "When you think of the best dancer in kpop jimin comes out.." "Jimin is the one that pops up in my mind when I think of dancers" “Jimin’s dancing is not what you can learn or copy" "Jimin is the one who has spectacular dance moves" and goes on and on. I’m a dancer myself and couldn’t agree more. I even look up to him. I’ve learned so much from him about dancing/performing.

Might be a little belated comment, I just came across your video. For me Butterfly, 100%. The song in itself is a masterpiece and the choreography enhances it, tells each word through movement, the whole sentiment of fear to lose something precious and the wish to hold to it forever...everything is portrayed so well. Brian Puspos (the choreographer) outdid himself with this, but each choreography is as good as the dancers who interpret it, and I'm sure Brian was satisfied with our amazing Bangtan Boys. It always amazes me how can they portray so many different styles and emotions. If you think of it, only Jimin and J-Hope had any previous dance education, yet all of them dance as professional dance majors. Astonishing. As to the other 2 dances - Danger choreography is very complex, and detailed, you can discover something new in it each time you watch. They synchronized even their eyeballs in this, it's frightening, how good they are! Am I wrong looks like a funny "little" choreo - but if you think it's easy to do stills and slow-motions with 7 people, you are sooooooooooo wrong. In terms of timing and practice, I'm sure this took them many effort and countless hours. Again, just mind-blowing. I stan the right group for sure!

Every member had to wear name tags because producers doesn't know who are they and each member's name. I really enjoy watching all the members - but I feel these early videos are showcasing Taehyungs dancing skills - which are not talked about much - I have always loved his dancing style..obviously all the members dance incredibly well. I am not detracting from how brilliantly Jhope, Jimin and JK dance - but often when the dance line in BTS are mentioned it is focussed on the 3Js and not Tae. I just hope people will now include Tae more as well as the 3 Js when talking about the good dancers in BTS. ...xxx But I think these dance practice MVs show how passionate, hard working, dedicated each of the members are - all of them gave their all to each of the routines - the energy reaches you through the screen. You can't help but admire and respect them and that is why we army love BTS so much and why we are all so protective of them and why we are by their side now and forever more - but loving these videos we get to see - so fun!
