HYYH on Stage : Epilogue is one of the best BTS Concert. From the beginning to the end, the setlist, the band and the instrumental is so fckng satisfying. HIGHT QUALITY AND SO BEAUTIFUL!!! This concert is so special to bangtan and army, cause this is the end of HYYH era. I still remember the euphoria I felt when saw the epilogue concert, bcause i become army at that time (2016). One thing about Jimin is that he's gonna hit those high note harmonies live every time. I can't emphasize enough how much i love this song & that beautiful choreography ✨ *Ps: lil bit about the song:* BTS is no stranger to mining emotional depth in their lyrics, and "Butterfly" is a key representation of the lyrical complexity that sets them apart as a K-pop act. The lyrics express the fear of losing someone through the simile of a butterfly. The butterfly could be interpreted as representing the ephemerality of time that risks being lost at a moment's notice: "Will you stay by my side?/ Will you promise me?/ If I let go of your hand, you might fly away and break, I'm scared."…Yoongi wrote it in hope to express the fear of losing someone by using the similar of a butterfly. It's meant to represent the fact that everything and anyone can be lost at a moments notice if you don't pay attention. But it mostly seems like the fear of losing someone who brings you so much happiness. Yes, I’m glad that you guys decided to watch what you want at your own pace. I became ARMY in summer of 2020, and I didn’t really have any guidance on how to go about watching their content. This song is about protecting someone they love (friends, family, etc.) When people do self-harm, it is known they draw a butterfly on the part that they did it on. But, if you continue to harm yourself there it’s erasing the butterfly and making it go away. Thus which BTS talks about when they don’t want the butterfly to go. When they talk about the fear of letting go of a hand, they are talking about the fear that if they stop trying that the person is going to get worse. They fear that if they even stop looking or watching carefully over that person, that the person will make the same bad decision.
