Working with ice in photography can be problematic - it melts too quickly, leaves a lot of cleanup, and might need to be frozen in layers if you're planning on putting objects in it.
An alternative way to get a glacial look is to grow salt crystals on a pane of glass instead.
In this video, I show you the whole process from preparing the salt crystals to editing the photo in Lightroom.
