I was lucky enough to see Suga on tour. There were so many fantastic moments during the concert, but there is something extremely special about an entire arena screaming “I love I love I love myself!” Even if I didn’t love bts, I’d have to be impressed by the message they’ve passed on through so much of their music. And have passed it along in a way that has really impacted people. Great reaction as always!

YAS SIS I KNEW THIS WOULD BE YOUR FAVE!!!! It's EXACTLY what your message is about and I couldn't wait until you got to it! Anytime I'm feeling down or someone f's with me - this is the go to song. When they do it at concerts - being in that crowd where everyone is yelling at the top of their lungs "I LOVE I LOVE I LOVE MYSELF" is strait up therapy (I was lucky enough to do so when I saw Suga in LA and Oakland) but even when they all do IDOL and everyone is yelling "YOU CANT STOP ME LOVIN MYSELF!!" like WHAA? Who else out here getting 60k+ sold out crowds pumping that much love into the world?? No one I've come across - until I was introduced to BTS Ok now, you gotta find j-hope's 1 verse. That is a 🔥 BEAT and Hobi rides it like a wave like a surfer yo! It's on SoundCloud but there may be a lyric video - if I find it I'll send it your way. I'm often speechless too - this music and these lyrics are incredible. Big Hit/HYBE motto rings true "music and artist for healing" 🙌🏾

I heard someone say that Suga's hair breaths for him when he rapp's and i about believe it!!🤣😂 This is why most American rappers are jealous of our guys. Even with Jungkook's whole album in english, i have very few times heard any of it on the radio here. Can you imagine what would happen if all of them were put on our radio stations?? OMG!!! I’m so pissed how nobody in the US gets to hear them without trying hard to find them. And it’s so ignorant that people won’t listen to another language, when half the songs on radio are not coherent anyways. It’s embarrassing how lazy some Americans can be. I’m American so I’m talking about my own people. People think I’m crazy for reading subtitles and listening to a language I don’t speak. These guys are honestly too good for the freaking western award shows, and radio. If I’m weird for loving them, then I’m weird and proud!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜I’m gonna just love myself. I’ve even told my husband, after he makes fun of my music tastes, he should go love himself!

Yep..."ugly" by Korean Beauty Standards. There was even a petition to get J-Hope kicked out because he was "so ugly". In the earlier MV's and some performances/interviews, you often see him wearing a really cool spike-y face mask, but...that mask isn't so cool when you realize he wore it to "hide" his "ugly face" from the fans. Other than Jin - and to a lesser degree, Tae - NONE of them are really handsome/attractive by Korean beauty standards. Also, in Korea, those types of words are NOT used interchangeably like they are in the U.S. RM has stated - repeatedly - he "knows" he's not handsome, but he can be attractive now and then. I'm still trying to figure out what the difference is...but those words, and other similar ones, all have VERY different and distinct meanings in South Korea. There are 40-42 "traits" when it comes to KBS...at most, Jin has around 38 of those traits. Tae, comparatively, only has around 17 or 18 of them. The rest of the group are in the lower double to single digits when compared to all the things that "count". Lighter skin is preferred - a holdover from the old days where rich people didn't need to work or at the very least worked inside the home/offices, poorer people - of course - were darker because of working outside on the farms, in construction, etc. Eyelids - double lids are preferred to monolids. Most Korean people have single lids, so double lids are seen as more unique, thus, more desirable/beautiful. Small faces are best. It's a great compliment for someone to tell you "Your face could be covered by a glass". (The "glass" being a typical size drinking glass.) Shoulder to waist ratio for men ("a perfect triangle" - wide shoulders/tiny waist) and just plain waist circumference for women matter most. There is one idol who is greatly admired because she has a 17" waist. Nope, that's not a typo, you read it correctly, a seventeen inch waist. There are just too many of those standards to list...plus, I don't even remember half of them. Granted, most in South Korea are slowly moving away from (or flat-out rejecting) the KBS, but there are a few who still hold those standards dear and won't accept a man/woman who has anything less than 35 or so "matches" when it comes to those Korean beauty standard traits.

Wow! That is a trip beauty is in the eye of the beholder but some of these people are blind LOL all of the members of BTS are handsome and beautiful and pretty! What the hell is going on out in these streets where people will actually think RM is not attractive! Wow whoever thinks that I wonder how they look! And you said a 17 inch waist?? Or anything I can say is wow just wow! I'll be glad when they catch up to what's really hot and what's not
