DNA is the song that made me want to become ARMY. I was living in Korea around that time so I would be a liar if I say I didn't know BTS. I was not a fan, though. However, I couldn't stop listening to this song and became a huge fan of their work after all.

I'd never expect the lyrics of DNA to be THAT deep, my second time watching the mv when I first came across Bangtan, I paid more attention to the sub titles (bc I was too distracted by the visuals during my first watch) and I was like dammnnn why does this sound like a wedding vow "Our meeting is a mathematical formula, religious precept, and providence of the universe, the evidence of destiny given to me, you’re the source of my dream" big brains and big heart thats where this is all coming from. Same! At first, I saw only the bright candy colors and heard the upbeat tempo… but the moment I read the lyrics, DNA became my first BTS favorite. They’re the most romantic lyrics, with a certain depth… I appreciated it so much because it feels near-impossible to find any contemporary songs about romantic love that’s actually romantic and, even better, positive, bright and reassuring. And the fact that it’s sung by these seven… phew! 😍💜

Brings back memories on how I felt glued to the screen in awe.. like 🤤! I was in love the first time I laid eyes on them and Tae reeled me in.
