Great reaction. I'm 55 and my daugther introduced me to BTS 4 years ago. These talented young men blew my mind, I never experienced anything like them. Their lyrics, messege, vocals, dance.... They are above & beyond . We went to their concert un Brazil & it was surreal, astonishing. Best concert ever (and I saw live: Madonna, Sting, Elton, Rod Stewart, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga....etc) but the Energy and atmosphere they create Is amazing and unique. This is the song that first introduce me to BTS. When the song came out back then in 2016, I was struggling doing my training as a Junior doctor and I was so depressed and nearly give up that time. However I somehow stumbled upon this video and the message of this song speaks to me. And as one of the members here wear a doctor attire in this MV and telling us to work harder and still be Dope, I relate to this so much it pushes me through one of the toughest moment in my life. Fast forward to present day, now I'm a practicing doctor in Emergency Medicine living my best life as a doctor and a BTS fan since then...most people relate to BTS song and that's why they're popular and have a lot of fans because their musics giving us inspiration, healing, comfort and entertainment. I'm proud to say I'm a BTS fan for life.

I totally agree their choreography is no joke. It was once mentioned that BTS choreography has the most complex ones and they have mastered the fast-n-slow steps. The way they dances, they makes it look simple and fun but for sure it took a lot of practice to perfect it. And to think not all of them are dancers and they all look great dancing it.

They really aim to entertain you. And your 3 rappers are right there with them. Talk about all for 1 and 1 for all. But this involvement in these types of BTS projects, is why the rappers received so much heat from their former friends still involved in the underground hip hop scene. Just remember this is one of their earlier videos when their budget wasn’t so big, so imagine their newer MVs, I’m sure you’re going to love them. Just to clarify, Save Me is one shot, but not one take. One take means only filming once and that's what you get. One shot means you can film it over and over till you're happy with the outcome, but each time it's filmed in entirety with no cuts.

These guys are so talented, that they're incomparable... I have never seen such a group in my lifetime that are highly talented, incredible, and amazing performers LIVE... I mean, if u get to see them perform (sing, rap, dance) live, and I mean live live with all those hard choreographies and still being stable vocally and deliver, which makes them more amazing... I tell u, I have been fangirling back in the days with the backstreet boys and nsync, but BTS is way way higher than those groups... Aside from them making their own music (composing and producing), I have never seen such artists who are as talented af... All 7 of them are insanely hard working, and they're actually humble human beings (at least from what is shown of them on camera). They really struggled financially when they started off and got some awful treatment for being poor and for coming from a tiny agency (e.g. had to practice in front of the washroom while all the other artists were given separate waiting rooms), although they probably don't have worries about money nowadays. Also, their music is so dynamic, you might be surprised to hear their other songs (they have really bubbly, happy songs too). I'm sure you know they rap (the three rappers of BTS being RM, Jhope, and Suga), but the vocalists are also amazing. Jungkook (aka, JK), is their main vocalist (the guy in the police outfit) and he's amazing. V, Jimin and Jin are the lead vocalists and they're also good. For BTS, I love how they don't have that one main dude and other guys just standing there, cuz their popularities are pretty evenly distributed, although the three youngest, (Jimin, V and Jungkook) have the most individual fans.

By the way, just for information, you won't get blocked even if you watch the whole video without any stops or comments in between. Korean companies usually treat reactions as free promotion, only if you have more than 3 videos in one reaction you might have a problem. And you have to be careful with live performances. I think you would really like Not Today. It was the first video of theirs I ever saw, and I was hooked from that point forward. I also think you might like ON kinetic manifesto, and some of their older work, like Danger, Boy in Love, or We Are Bulletproof-this last one you should see the dance practice omg , they’re just amazing. They are just unique and authentic, you said it all, the production of the music, the lyrics, the dancing, the rap and the vocals, they are smart and nobody does what they do, and how big they are now is because of how smart, talented and how hard work they did, simple as that, they know how to do all the fuck and on their own, practically, they built a journey with no one believing they could, constantly telling them they were weird, making fun of them for looking that way , sing in such a way, saying that they didn't do real hip hop and stuff like that, or that they weren't successful in the west because they're Asian, and no one had ever done what they do now being Asians or Koreans, with only the ARMY believing in them, supporting them, and they could give up, but no, and anyway, look what they are now. They just get bigger and bigger and the numbers they make are insane, the people they reach are insane, they're insane. Incredibly insane and badass. That's why I love the lyrics of Dope and Idol, it's like they're saying "I'm amazing not by luck and not because I was given easy success, I went and worked hard, I made sacrifices and today you will shut up and listen to me, and then criticize all the fuck you want"

Scrolled the comments for awhile but didn’t see anyone mention “American Hustle Life” - when they were still very young and a fresh group they did a reality series called “American Hustle Life.” I hear them mention the hustle life several times in this song. I believe I watched the series on KZbin with subtitles as it documented them navigating through various westernized challenges including street hustling their music and show… if I remember correctly Coolio and a couple other artists were featured. But honestly it felt cringey as an American watching it. They were humble and hard working as always, though. That’s why we “FW it.” Lol! 😂

Love your reaction. This is one of the song for haters. The message is that they also work as harder as other professionals like they show in the video.They have many songs for haters as they experienced much hate because they were doing amazing despite from a smaller company. BTS is known for their versatility, deeper meaningful lyrics, amazing choreography, amazing production (minimal usage of green screen), live performance with the same choreography while singing maintaining the notes mostly without backup track and all members involvement in making a song/album. They are also good writers, composers and producers. They literally live together and work day/night for their work. The dedication is unmatchable. By the way their Fandom is so diverse from teenagers to 60+. They do have songs for every genre. Well, you might need explanation video for Daechwita. Idk you catch it or not but RM's part the giving up on 3 - courtship, marriage, children; giving up on 5 includes the previous three and employment and homeownership; and then there's giving up on 7 with interpersonal relationship and hope. RM said "Can I get a little bit of hope" which means he may be giving up but still wants hope. (Giving up on 9 also includes health and physical appearance; giving up on 10 means completely giving up - giving up life.) And you can watch Baepsae/Silver Spoon is definitely worth listening to. It has similar message too(need to watch the explanation as well). I would recommend watching both the lyrics video and the explanation. Actually the pronunciation of "6po / yookpo (giving up 6)" is same with that of beef jerky😆 Koreans would imediatly think of beef jerky listening that line lol. RM is saying he loves beef jerky so he should be giving up 6, cleverly playing with 2 languages again. That man is a genius indeed got 148 iq in his brain lol.

I love this song so much i cosplayed as Jimin from this MV and did the Dope dance at a local comic con near me and i had fun. Also i love how Jimin and Jungkook bounced of eachother, with their voices. Jimin in this MV is why i love a man in uniform, i love Jimins voice and i also love his highnotes aswell but his character is the one i love, this is partly the reason Jimin is my ultimate kpop bias. This song is totally Dope (see what i did there lol)
